ABOUT OUR SPEAKERSBret StephenS Mr. Stephens is the deputy editorial page editor responsible for the international opinion pages of The Wall Street Journal. He also writes “Global View,” the paper’s weekly foreign-affairs column, and is a member of the Journal’s editorial board. He is a regular panelist on The Journal Editorial Report, a weekly political talk show broadcast on Fox News Channel.

Dr. Jonathan Schanzer Dr. Schanzer is vice president of research for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the author of Hamas vs. Fatah: The Struggle for Palestine. Previously, he has served as a counterterrorism analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He was also a Research Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, where he authored the book Al-Qaeda’s Armies: Middle East Affiliate Groups and the Next Generation of Terror.

raBBi Ken Spiro Rabbi Spiro is a senior lecturer and researcher for Aish HaTorah’s Discovery Seminars and the Jerusalem Online University. In addition, he is a licensed tour guide from the Israel Ministry of Tourism. He has appeared on numerous radio and television programs such as B.B.C. Radio and TV., The National Geographic Channel, The History Channel, Channel 4 England and Arutz Sheva-Israel National Radio. He is the author of WorldPerfect - The Jewish Impact on Civilization and Crash Course in Jewish History.

Jonathan KeSSler Jonathan Kessler has devoted his professional life to strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship. He currently serves as AIPAC’s Leadership Development Director, responsible for the strategic development and oversight of AIPAC’s highly acclaimed campus efforts and their positioning within the larger pro-Israel political movement. In addition, Jonathan serves as a member of AIPAC’s Senior Staff and directs AIPAC’s Schusterman Advocacy Institute and Washington Professional Forum.
