On some occasions there are blue skies and it is clear, but most days the sky is smoggy and grey.

What is air pollution?

Air pollution is particles that are released into the air from burning fuel into energy.

It comes out as black smoke.

There are 2 Major Air Pollution Issues

Mainly made by:

Motor Vehicles

Power plants in Hong

Kong and the Pearl

River Delta Region in

China

Can it harm us?

Short term effects:Irritation in the

• Headaches

• Allergic Reactions

Long term effects:

• Lung cancer

• Heart disease

Damage to the:

• Brain

• Nerves

• Kidneys

They are a much more cleaner option than the diesel taxis.
