Rotary Club of Hong Kong South District 3450 2012 Club 888 Lucky Draw Club 888 Lucky Draw The Rotary Club Hong Kong South has held its annual Club 888 Lucky Draw for over 20 years. During that time, we have used the lucky draw proceeds to fund our many community service and charitable programmes in Hong Kong and around the region. Your donation will help us continue to help the needy, support educational and environmental activities, and provide the resources necessary to carry out local ad hoc and relief service projects. A limited number of tickets will be sold for our 2012 Club 888 Lucky Draw, elevating the odds of winning one of the 72 generously donated prizes. You may purchase as many tickets as you wish, so consider buying more than just one to boost your chances of winning while simultaneously funding our philanthropic endeavours—a true win-win scenario!

Service Above Self

Our recent donations have made the following programmes possible: 1. Together with the Canadian International School and German Swiss International School, our club held English Dialogue Sessions at Hong Kong True Light College and the Aplichau Kaifong Primary School to help students with their English language learning. We also donated English story books and sponsored Hong Kong True Light College students to attend a play by Shakespeare.

2. In Sichuan, we set up a clinic with expert basic medical and family help services that benefited hundreds of leprosy patients and their families. Rotarians continue to carry out regular on-the-spot audit checks regarding this project.

3. We support a scholarship awarded to an eligible student at the Hong Kong Sea School.

4. We support the Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Social Service Centre’s Harmony Life Enrichment Centre which provides individual and family counselling and training programmes.

5. We supported Rotaractor Walter Hung’s walk around Taiwan to raise funds to end polio.

6. We are a sponsor of the Hong Kong Chinese Calligraphy (Ball Pen) Competition and the Hong Kong Students’ Speech Competition 2012 organised by the Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Social Service Centre..

7. Through an existing network of schools, we donate book coupons and sports shoes coupons to needy families and students

8. We supported the Grandma Care Project in Thailand, which provides much-needed assistance to AIDS orphans being raised by their grandparents.

The Club 888 Lucky Draw – How to buy Number of tickets to be sold: 500 (HK$888 per ticket)

There are 8 separate draws, and each draw includes 9 prizes. There are a total of 72 prizes on offer.

REMEMBER: Your ticket/s can win in every one of the 8 separate draws! The lucky draw will be held on 17th May 2012. Winners will be notified of the results via phone and e-mail. Results will be published in the South China Morning Post and Sing Pao Daily News on 25th May 2012. All prizes must be claimed on or before 31st August 2012. Tickets are non-refundable and all prizes are not redeemable for cash.
