As we edge closer towards the end of the home and away series, a number of teams put on brilliant performances doing their best to secure the all important 4 premiership points. Both the U13 Jets and U16 Comets won by a single point and the U14 Comets won an epic top of the table clash. The U16 Girls continue to keep their season alive with another good win. The U11 Rockets and U12 Jets also got the job done. Wishing the U8s and U9s all the best for this Sunday’s Lightning Carnivals.

Club Canteen Operator opportunity

The AJAX Junior Football Club is seeking expressions of interest to run the canteen on Sundays at Princes Park for the 2020 season and beyond.

REQUIREMENTS• Experience having operated a food service business, including the sale of hot and cold foods, and the operation of a commercial coffee machine.

• The canteen operates from 8am to around 4pm every Sunday during the season (generally from late April to end August).

• Responsibilities of Operator will include ordering, staffing, food safety and cleaning.

Expressions of interest should be lodged with the Secretary of the club via email to [email protected] by 16 August 2019.
