2020 Community Grants Program

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION GRANT PROGRAM

Since 2007, we have donated over $500,000 toward community outreach initiatives helping our neighbors.

Some of our nonprofit housing partners include: CASA, Family Promise, Families Together, The Green Chair Project, Wrenn House, Wake County Human Services’ Cooling Wake Program.

Mission Statement: To provide volunteers and financial resources to improve housing solutions in Wake County.

The Community Grants Program provides general and special projects funding to area nonprofit organizations that address unmet housing needs in Wake County. RFOWC prioritizes proven housing-based solutions linked with supportive services. Housing-based solutions focus on moving people who are homeless into transitional housing or affordable rental housing and providing them with the support they need to remain there and potentially even become homeowners.

Organizations applying for funding without a housing component must demonstrate measurable outcomes that reduce homelessness.

Applications are rated by a grants review committee comprised of REALTORS® and housing industry specialists.

Grant requests will be considered in any amount up to $3,000. NOTE: Applications must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation by a REALTOR® in good standing with the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®
