AK/NZ SERIES IN OPERATION

The AK / NZ grinders process green waste, garden

and park waste, biowaste, pre-shredded log and

roots, waste wood and wooden pallets.

For special applications, the AK / NZ grinders

can ideally be combined with other DOPPSTADT

products, such as shredders or screens.

AK/NZ SERIES

The grinders of the AK and NZ series reduce

the material by means of the large flail drum.

The free-swinging flails inside, provided with

replaceable wearing tips, grind the material

tearing it along the baffle plate. According to

the demands on the throughput capacity and

the material size, various mesh sizes of the

grinding basket are available.

The Doppstadt grinders stand out for their free-

swinging flail holders with separately replaceable

wearing tools and the heavy gyrating mass of

the flail drum working at approx. 1,000 rpm.

• Easy maintenance thanks to large protection

doors on all sides and the central lubrication

• Separate drives for scraper floor and feed-in

roller optimizing the material feed and the

throughput (AK 435)

• Wide range of possible applications as all the

shredding tools of the mobile Doppstadt series

can be used.

FEED-IN ROLLER

The feed-in roller with reversing

function pulls the material evenly

to the grinding chamber.

DRIVE

Mechanic drive by rotary current motor

and V-belts.

REMOTE CONTROL

All the functions of the

machine can be controlled

with the remote control,

e.g. by the wheel loader

operator.

Fe-SEPARATION By means of an overband

magnet* the contaminants

containing iron can be separated

after each process step.

LOWER DISChARGE CONVEYOR

Discharge of the grinded material and of

the spillage beneath the scraper floor.

MAINTENANCELarge doors for optimum maintenance.

GRINDING BASKET

You will determine the desired grain size of

the material by choosing among grinding

baskets with mesh sizes between 30 mm

and 400 mm (1.2"–15.7"). With the quick-

changing system it takes only 15 minutes

to change the baskets.

FLAIL DRUM

The large flail drum with approx. 2,5 t

(5,512 lb) gyrating mass (AK 435E/

NZ 180) grinds the materials. The

free-swinging flail holders with easily

replaceable tips are resistant against

contaminants. The tips can be chosen

according to the material.

BAFFLE PLATE

A baffle plate with teeth

supports the grinding process.

SCRAPER FLOOR

The patented, load-sensing

scraper floor transports the

material to the feed-in roller.

DOPPSTADT AK 235 E grinder with its flail drum. It accom-

plishes its tasks by the free-swinging flail principle combined

with the grinding basket. Thanks to various, quickly replace-

able tools, the AK 235 E can easily be adjusted to the different

grinding tasks. The efficient mechanic power transmission is

carried out by V-belt drive of the flail drum and hydraulic drive

of the additional components. Furthermore, highest flexibility

for a quick and universal application is guaranteed.

swinging flail principle combined with the grinding basket.

Thanks to various, quickly replaceable tools, the AK 435 E can

easily be adjusted to the different grinding tasks. The efficient

mechanic power transmission is carried out by V-belt drive of

the flail drum and hydraulic drive of the additional components.
