Faith United Church of Christ, under the leadership of Bishop Dwayne D. Royster, is celebrating 40 years of service to the Washington, DC community. For two decades of its existence, Faith UCC has engaged in initiatives to empower and support groups in West Africa in the areas of entrepreneurship and early childhood development. In 2013, Faith UCC co-sponsored with Temple of Nyame Dua a trip to Ghana and Liberia. Sia Barbara Ferguson Kamara has been one of the key facilitators of the work of Faith UCC. She is a former Peace Corps volunteer in Liberia and first traveled to Ghana in the 1960’s. An internationally recognized early childhood expert, Kamara has been a consultant to the Ministry of Education in Liberia for the last 8 years and has extensive knowledge of the people. She will serve as the lead tour guide in Liberia.

Requirements for Visa

a. Applicant's Passport must accompany application and the passport must have at least 6 months left before expiration

b. Two (1) passport size photographs. (FULL Face view on White background)

c. Flight itinerary

d. Self addressed prepaid USPS/FEDEX/UPS envelope with tracking number for return of passport (see mail restrictions)Mail or drop-off passport and all other documents listed above. Failure to include all items could lead to delays in processing of your visa.

Please note:

a. There is a waiting period of ten(10) working days for Visa processing.

b. Applicants are advised to apply within two weeks of their travel date.

c. Airlines by regulation, will not allow you to board without a valid visa.

d. If you are a Liberian, living in the United States and have become a US citizen, you are required to obtain a valid visa to travel to Liberia

e. In accordance with International Health Regulations, all persons entering Liberia are also required to have a Valid Certificate of Immunization (YELLOW BOOK)ECOWAS Country Passports: No Visa Required
