Question 12: Are you a member of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.)?
Closing remarksClosing remarks As reported by Alateens, participation in Alateen
will likely improve the health, daily functioning, and mental well-being of those who are affected by someone else’s drinking.
Personal recommendations are still the most important influence for members to attend their first meeting. Encourage Al-Anon members to reach out to their children and others who may benefit from attending Alateen.
A third of Al-Anon members have children at home under the age of 21. This shows a lot of potential for the growth of Alateen. Current Al-Anon members should be encouraged to have their children attend an Alateen group.
