29th April, 2014. Introduction To Allah belongs the most beautiful Names.

To Allah belong the most beautiful names. We all believe that He deserves the praise. Everything in life from Allah is an opening. Allah will open in this world and in the Here After.

So last time we did the Dua that may Allah make me follow the righteous people. But this is not enough we need to ask that we need to save ourselves from some groups. There are a total of three groups, one is successful and the other two are failures. We say that we don’t want to follow the way of maghdoob and daaleen. We mentioned that people who don’t understand Surah Fatiha are not satisfied with the Dua. We need to know the other two wrong groups and what do they do. Maghdoobi alihim means that an action will be done on these people. This action is Allah’s anger and wrath on such people. These people have anger of Allah on them. Some people might think why Allah will be angry. Al ghazhab is not the Name of Allah but it is an attribute but it is a restricted attribute. His name is Ar Raheem and He is always Merciful. All names of Allah has

attributes this attribute of anger is restricted which means that Allah is not angry all the time. Allah is merciful all the time. Don’t misuse the name of Allah by saying that Allah will get angry. We cannot say Allah is angry until Allah said Himself that I get angry for this action or situation. A human being will do some wrong action then Allah’s anger will come. Everything that happens Allah knows and He will be merciful. Allah’s mercy is there all the time. Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (Salellaho alihi wassalam): "When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, "My Mercy overpowers My Anger." [Sahih Bukhari - Book: 54. Beginning of Creation, Hadith:416] Sometimes we think that anger is bad mood, being aggressive, shouting etc. but when is comes to Allah’s anger then it is not like human anger. His anger is praise worthy. Don’t use the word anger of Allah to scare people or children. We cannot talk about Allah’s anger like this to people. No one is like Allah. We cannot think how is Allah angry. Allah deserves all praises and this anger is praise worthy. Sometimes we get angry for our personal reasons. Allah is free from desires, He is Ghani. Allah is Samad nothing can effect Him. The anger of Allah suits His majesty. Sometimes human being when they get angry its not nice because it’s not appropriate. Ghazab is like fire for the human being that’s why Prophet Muhammad sallelaho alihi wassalm said that don’t be angry. For humans who are beautiful but angry they destroy their beauty but Allah’s anger suits His beauty. Before Allah gets angry He is merciful. In Surah Baqarah Allah is angry for justice.

There is a group of people who sold themselves for Satan or dunya. So Allah became angry on them. Now Allah is showing that Nabi sallelaho alihi

wasallam is here now jews should have believed but they denied and did not believe. They had knowledge because the coming of the prophet was mentioned in their books. They denied out of jealousy, transgression so they deserve the anger of Allah.

These are the people who deserve the anger of Allah because they started to worship the calf. After the truth was shown to them they still transgressed. The punishment of Allah is different from the anger of Allah. As a consequence of anger of Allah we have to get punished. Punishment of Allah is Hell fire that is creation of Allah.

Allah opened their hearts to Islam they know it but then they left and disbelieved after getting guidance. They were having faith then they disbelieved. Faith is a gift from Allah subhanhu taala but they rejected. Sometimes some people who have knowledge they turn back and they can’t be firm. So don’t trust yourself ask Allah to be firm on deen. We cannot trust our knowledge or anyone for our Emaan we need to depend on Allah. So the people who left guidance after having it deserve the anger of Allah. Anger is there for justice with people who deserve it. If Allah doesn’t get angry then it

will be unjust. A good companion is something important for being firm on Deen. We need to have people who are firm on deen around us. This will help you a lot for being firm and better. Secondly you should thank Allah and appreciate Allah for He blessed you with Emaan. If you thank Allah He will increase you in blessing and not decrease it. Whenever you are doing good thank Allah.

Allah bestowed upon bani Israel a lot of blessings. Allah is saying that don’t be greedy for the blessing He gave you. He blesses us with something so that we get close to Allah. If they don’t do that then Allah will get angry with them.

Allah tells in the beginning of surah Mujadila that don’t make friends among those who deserves the anger of Allah. These are those people who swear on the lies. They know what they do and they do it on insistence and not by mistake. So don’t take such people as friends.

if Allah is angry on someone then these people are helpless to do anything. So don’t take them as friends. They are helpless about the Akhira. They feel that they will never die and they will not be resurrected. In general the people who know and they do not follow and insist on their sins then Allah will initially deal with them with mercy but if they transgress and keep insisting on sins then Allah will be angry with them. On the Day of Judgment when reckoning will not start and there is a hadith about this: It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik said: Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us: “When the Day of Resurrection comes, the people will surge with each other like waves. They will come to Adam and say, ‘Intercede for us with your Lord.’ He will say, ‘I am not fit for that. Go to Ibraaheem for he is the Close Friend of the Most Merciful.’ So they will go to Ibraaheem, but he will say, ‘I am not fit for that. Go to Moosa for he is the one to whom Allaah spoke directly.’ So they will go to Moosa but he will say, ‘I am not fit for that. Go to ‘Eesa for he is a soul created by Allaah and His Word.’ So they will go to ‘Eesa but he will say, ‘I am not fit for that. Go to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).’ So they will come to me and I will say, I am fit for that.’

Then I will ask my Lord for permission and He will give me permission, and He will inspire me with words of praise with which I will praise Him, words that I do not know now. So I will praise Him with those words of praise and I will fall down prostrate before Him. He will say, ‘O Muhammad, raise your head. Speak and intercession will be granted to you, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted.’ I will say, ‘O Lord, my ummah, my ummah!’ He will say, ‘Go and bring forth everyone in whose heart there is faith the weight of a barley-grain.’ So I will go and do that. Then I will come back and praise Him with those words of praise and I will fall down prostrate before Him. He will say, ‘O Muhammad, raise your head. Speak and intercession will be granted to you, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted.’ I will say, ‘O Lord, my ummah, my ummah!’ He will say, ‘Go and bring forth everyone in whose heart there is faith the weight of a small ant or a mustard-seed.’ So I will go and do that. Then I will come back and praise Him with those words of praise and I will fall down prostrate before Him. He will say, ‘O Muhammad, raise your head. Speak and intercession will be granted to you, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted.’ I will say, ‘O Lord, my ummah, my ummah!’ He will say, ‘Go and bring forth from the Fire everyone in whose heart there is faith the weight of the lightest, lightest grain of mustard-seed.’ So I will go and bring them forth.” So the conclusion is that people who know the truth but they don’t follow it Allah gave a parable in Surah Jumuah that such a person is like a donkey who carry books because it doesn’t benefit the donkey. May Allah make us act upon whatever we learn Aameen.
