Introduction.

The aim of this booklet is to introduce the reader to the topic from the Qur’an. It can be studied on its on its own and it also complements the video lecture of the same topic which accompanies it.

The booklet contains ayaat (Qura’nic verses) pertaining to the topic as discussed in the video lecture in a question and answer format.Questions are raised, and their answers are given by the ayaat.

The ordering and numbering of the ayaat corresponds with those on the lecture which can be downloaded from the video lectures section of IIPC website: www.iipc.tv

The Qura’nic references provided herein are not exhaustive but offer the core essence of the subject. The references that have been excluded in this publication can be researched using any good concordance and it will be discovered that the selection introduced in this publication will harmonize the entire sequence.

It is hoped that Muslim readers willmemorize these ayaat along with their Arabic text and engage in Da’wah (propagation of Islam) to their friends and colleagues, and also be able to recite the same in their Salah (prayer).

In this manner, the booklet becomesa useful tool for everyday Muslimpractice - Insha’Allah.

Surely Ad-Deen / The Judgment in the nearness of Allah is Al-Islam / To Attain Peace.And those who were given Al-Kitab / The Book did not differ except to wrong each other after the knowledge came to them. And whosoever rejects with the ayats / signs of Allah then surely Allah is quick in taking the account.

85.And whosoever seeks a Deen / Judgment other than Islam / Peace then it will never be accepted from him and in the last he will be from the lost ones.

And We covenanted with Ibraheem and Ismaeel that they should purify My house for those who go around and use as aitekaaf / dedicated / devout and who bow, prostrate.

73. They said, “are you amazed from the order of Allah, the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you Ahlal-bait / people of the House. Surely, He is Praiseworthy, Glorious.

When he (Ibraheem) said to hisfather, O’ my father why do youserve those who do not listenand do not have insight. And they cannot enrich you about anything.

43. Surely O’ my father without doubtthere has came to me from the knowledgewhat did not come to you.So follow me, I will guide you on an even way.

O’ my father do not serve satan.Surely the satan is disobedientfor the most Gracious.

O’my father surely I fear thepunishment that touches you from the Most Gracious so you will become a protector for satan.

He (Ibraheem’s father) said do you detest / dislike about my gods O’ Ibraheem.If you do not stop I will definitelystone you and leave mefor a long time.

He (Ibraheem) said peace be on to you.Soon I will seek forgiveness for you from my Lord. Surely He will be affectionate with me.

78.And jahedo / you strive in (the way of) Allah as the right of jehad / striving in (the way of) Him. He has chosen you and He has made no difficulty over you in ad-deen / the judgment (i.e.islam / to attain peace)The millat / religion of your ancestor Ibraheem.He has named you muslimeen / submitters from before and in this so that the messenger be a witness over youand you be a witness over mankind.Then establish salah / prayer and give zakah / justificationand hold fast with Allah. Or they say, surelyIbraheem and Ismaeel andIs'haq and Yaqoob and the tribes were hood / lenient/ jews or nasara / helpers / christians.Say, do you know more than Allah? And who is more unjust than the one who concealed / hidethe evidence he has from Allah?And Allah is not unawareabout what you do.

And never will the yahood / lenient / jews or the nasara / helpers / christiansbe pleased with you unless you followtheir millat / religion. Say, surely the guidance of Allah is the guidance. And if you are to follow their desires after the knowledge has reached you then you would find neither protector nor helper from Allah.

Or they jealous of mankind on what Allah has given them from His bounty? Indeed We have giventhe followers of Ibraheemthe book and the wisdom and We gave them a great kingdom.

4. Indeed there is for you the most beautiful pattern in Ibraheem and those with him, when they said to their people surely, we are clear of you and of whatever you serve besides Allah. We have rejected you, and there has arisen between us and you enmity and hatred forever unless you believe in Allah and Him alone except thesaying of Ibraheem for his father. “Certainly I will ask forgiveness for you and I have no authority from Allah in anything for you. Our Lord, on You is our trust and towards You we depute / represent and towards You is our determination.”

And Zakariya and Yahya and Essa and Ilyas. All were from those who correct themselves.

84. And We donated Ishaaq and Yaqoob for him. We guided all and from before We guided Nooh and from his offsprings (We guided) Dawood and Sulaiman and Ayub and Yusuf and Moosa and Haroon. And likewise We reward those who do good.
