Biomedical Engineering Field Service Engineer Philips Healthcare, Meridian, MS October 2011- February 2014My responsibilities included maintenance and repair of medical equipment for all Rush Health Systems-owned critical access hospitals and clinics. In this capacity I routinely met with hospital administrators and Nursing directors to assure their equipment needs were being cared for.

Biomedical Engineering Director Philips Healthcare, Meridian, MS; 2008- 2011Served as Biomedical department director at Riley Memorial Hospital.

My duties included:

Preventive maintenance and repairs of medical equipment.

Served on the hospital environment of care and safety committee, offering insight and recommendations of new equipment purchases.

Educated staff in the area of user-maintenance of specific medical equipment.

Prepared the Biomedical Equipment Department for Joint Commission Accreditation.

Created and updated the hospital’s medical equipment management plan.
