32Crayons.com is a startup company which has built a Tech platform to connect schools
and parents. I worked as a key member of its website and app development team. My work
involved using multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and
frameworks and libraries like bootstrap, jQuery and Rails.
Responsibilities included (but not limited to):
1. Created, upgraded and maintained the front end of the School Console and several
pieces (Loan Landing Page, School Page and App Landing Page) of the website.
2. Implemented responsive UI design using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.
3. Debugged and troubleshooted JavaScript code using tools such as Chrome developer tool, Firebug.
4. Development of template for PDF application form using HTML and CSS.
5. Manual Testing of website and 32Crayons app using Bug tracking tools like JIRA and documentation on Confluence.
6. Designed 32Crayons Logo, various UI pieces and creatives for Play Store, mockups of 32Crayons app screens and 32Crayons website using various design and prototyping tools like Photoshop, JustinMind Prototyping, Pencil tool, etc.
7. Involved in devising strategies for app and website throughout the Life Cycle of Development.
8. Integration of backend codes with frontend code using various templates like erb, Freemarker.
