Carbon monoxide alarms to conform to CAN/CSA-6.19.
ALL Kidde carbon monoxide alarms are listed by CSA to the CAN/CSA-6.19,
“Residential Carbon Monoxide Alarming Devices” standard.
A carbon monoxide (CO) alarm to be installed in every dwelling that contains a fuel burning appliance, or shares
a common wall/floor/ceiling with a storage garage. Some examples include:
A carbon monoxide alarm in or within 5 m of each bedroom.
Carbon monoxide alarms to be interconnected, so that when one
alarm sounds, all alarms sound.
