The City council of Alcobaça, has been working in this exhibition since 1999, pro-moting and disseminating the rich cultural heritage that are the desserts, focu-sing on culinary tradition left by the presence of monks and nuns in the Monastery of Alcobaça and Monastery of Santa Maria of Cós.

This exhibition is designed to preserve and explore Conventual Sweets as a rich part of thecultural heritage of the area.
