Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Gerolamo Umberto Volta,better known by the name of Alessandro Volta was an Italian physicist whodeveloped the battery in 1800. Alessandro Volta was born 18 February 1945and died 5 March 1827 in como, Italy.
