‘Lest We Forget’

Henmore Health is a ‘Veterans Friendly’ organisation which extends beyond our Private Services to our NHS Contracts and Services too. Treating Patients with respect and in accordance with the Governments commitment to supporting Veterans across the UK.

In 2017 we signed the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC)commiting to support Serving Personnel, Reserve Personnel and Veterans wherever practical and through our support we have been nominated in 2018 for a AFC Silver Award.

We show our support in a variety of ways, in our Private Services we discount our products to eligible patients defined as Serving Personnel, Reserve Personnel, Retired Veterans and their dependants—the whole Service Family.

In our NHS Services we will treat Serving members of the Armed Forces as Temporary Residents who are unable to attend their Unit for Treatment. We will prioritise the Treatment of Vetarans at our GP Surgery in Ashbourne.

In recruitment, we ensure all Service Leavers get an interview when they apply for advertised jobs and have enjoyed taking on a Service Leaver and two Reservists recently such as;

Major (BA Reserve) Cormac Doyle, 2ic at 222 Field Hospital Leicester and a former Regular British Army Officer with operational experience in Iraq and Afghanistan working in Defence Community Mental Health.

Or;

Decorated Service Leaver (OM Telic, OM Herrick), Corporal (Retired) Danny Smart formerly of Defence Primary Healthcare and the Royal Air Force Medical Services who today as Business Manager for The Henmore Health Group ensures the business grows with defined focus on our Armed Forces community.

Henmore Health is commited to support those who have fought for us, those who have sacrificed much in the course of their duty and the families of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Our ‘Lest We Forget’ policy will remain with us always and we are proud of it.
