NOSE Dark Fruits, spice, American Oak derived vanilla and Coconut PALATE Big full bodied palate, firm tannins. WINEMAKING The grapes are crushed and then transferred to open fermenters, where the Shiraz and Graciano were blended. The wine is basket pressed and transferred to a mixture of old French and American oak to complete fermentation and mature. The barrel ferments are aged on lees, there is no racking until final blending. FOOD PAIRING Spicy smoked T-bone steaks with Chilean salsa. VINTAGE NOTES 2019 vintage will be remembered as a hot and dry harvest. The season started with budburst occurring at the normal time, but a hot summer required exceptional irrigation management to nurture the vines to their full potential. Challenging climatic conditions were managed which resulted in good to excellent wine quality.
