Trained in fire making, water collection, shelter building, trapping, plant identification, some animal tracking, some wilderness first aid, knots, repelling/belaying, canoeing, proper hiking, energy conservation, maps, GPS, compass triangulation, primitive tool making, rope work (bridges, pulley systems), general backpacking, and outdoor education.

Boating: Licensed in operating and navigating small water crafts.

(Boats up 15 ft.) Also experienced in fresh water fishing.

Arts: Have completed advanced arts related courses in drawing, sculpture, and painting.

Radio: Served 4 years as a radio DJ for the WLFR radio station for the Richard Stockton College,

and have experience with sound board technologies. Arc GIS:

Some experience using the ArcMap and ArcView programs, for simple land use and water shed map purposes.

High Ropes Courses: Belay set-up using ATC, zip line carriages, pulley systems, static belay set-up, etc. Used skills as a high ropes instructor with children as young as 5th grade.

Worked with children as young as 5th Grade teaching classes including: Pond Ecology, Wetlands Ecology, Forest Ecology, Geocaching, Orienteering, rock climbing, wilderness survival, team building, and high ropes courses.

Senior Research Project: February, 2013- May, 2013 Conserve Wildlife Foundation: With Habitat Manager Benjamin

Wurst Research topic focused on incorporating reconciliation

ecology and the conservation of raptor species. Specifically worked with Ospreys, Peregrine Falcons, and

Bald Eagles. Participated in local community outreach programs.

Research Assistant : June 2012-July 2012Utila Island: Iguana Research and Breeding Station, Honduras Central America

Assisted biologist Sophia Nunez, in the care and research of the Utila Spiny Tailed

Iguana (Ctenosaura bakeri), an endemic/ endangered species. Assisted in the release of captive bred juveniles into wild habitat (mangroves), as well as

cared for the new hatchlings. Experience in public education of tropical ecology, and the Utila Spiny Tailed Iguana

(Ctenosaura bakeri) Field observation of wild iguanas, as well as helped develop a capture and release

census.
