DESCRIPTION
The work of John Friedman Alice Kimm Architects (JFAK.net) begins with the premise that architecture has the power to positively transform individual and collective lives, as well as the responsibility to both sustain and improve the overall environment. Alice Kimm (B.A. Cornell, M.Arch Harvard) was born in Chicago and spent her high school years in Seoul, Korea. Her work has been recognized with a Fulbright Scholarship, a National AIA award, multiple regional AIA awards including two Los Angeles AIA Decade Awards. She is currently a Visiting Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Southern California.
