About NMAT Exam

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is a global non-profit organization

comprised of leading graduate business schools around the world. It believes that business and

management are critical to the economic and social well-being of people worldwide. They

advocate for graduate management education and its value to individuals and society. GMAC is

the owner and administrator of the GMAT and NMAT by GMAT exams.

4. You can choose your own test window, apply for the exam through your mobile and

eventually apply to business schools, only after reviewing your results.

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: NMAT 2020 has not mentioned any age bar to attempt the exam.

Educational Qualifications: The candidates should be holding a bachelor’s degree from a

recognized university.

Minimum Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in the bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience: The candidates having 2-3 years of work experience will be preferred.

Provisional Admission: Candidates who have given their graduation exam last year and are

awaiting their results can also apply for the NMAT 2020 exam.

Maximum Attempts: Candidates can attempt the NMAT exam 2020 three times which include

the ‘no shows’.

Candidates also have to pay the requisite application fee before the mentioned deadline and have

to submit the application form along with the required documents.

Test Structure

The NMAT by GMAC™ exam is computer adaptive and gives each candidate a randomly

generated test from a pool of questions, delivered one-at-a-time. The number of questions,

difficulty levels, and the time limit for each of the sections is predetermined and, under normal

administration conditions, are the same regardless of when and where the test is administered.

Candidates have a choice of selecting the order/sequence of the test sections.

The NMAT by GMAC exam has three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and

Logical Reasoning.

The three sections of the NMAT by GMAC are individually timed. Test takers must answer

questions of each section within the allotted time.
