 Introduction  Use your arm or legs to attack.  Guess who I am? The student has to have some respect, responsibility and last but not least integrity. It is not judo ,not kungfu but taekwondo! Read this book and learn about this sport.   

 What To Wear  Stop! Before you go to a lesson you need to change your clothes. If the master sees you without your uniform, you will be in lots of trouble. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you there are different kinds of uniforms you can wear. The uniform can be white, red, blue, black or yellow. It has belts of different colors that show which level you are on. You also wear a long shirt and long pants. You can have badges that show which class you are in. I can’t tell you more see you……     

Action!  Have you ever used some of the taekwondo moves? If you did, you probably don’t need to learn. If you don’t know, come and learn it. Trust me there are lots of moves. Ow! I hurt my leg. Back to the moves. Hammer kick is one of the most dangerous kicks ever. But you can’t hurt other people. Haaayaaa! Before you turn the page there are two different kinds of strikes. One is attack and the other one is to defend. 

Rules Are Important  Follow the rules! You can’t use the taekwondo moves in school or you will only get your self into trouble. Here are some important rules: you can only use taekwondo to defend yourself, do not strike the head, no hurting people. Only defend.
