RESERVED PARKING & GROOMING INFORMATION◆ Parking is a privilege extended by the Electric City Kennel Club & the Flathead Kennel Club of

Montana. The clubs reserve the right to withdraw this privilege from any persons who feel they cannot abide by the rules & regulations or who resort to abusive language. All parking is at your own risk. The clubs assume no responsibility for fire, theft and/or damage to any vehicle or its cargo.

◆ Parking spots will be assigned as they are received & with respect to space requirements.◆ Parking in assigned spaces only. For safety reasons, no setups or extra vehicles may be in the

alleyways between rows. No extra vehicles in reserved parking spaces.◆ As per our agreement with the fairgrounds, there will be a charge for all overnight/reserved

parking. No overnight parking will be allowed in the fairground park or picnic areas. No setups in or around the picnic shelters.

◆ In consideration of other exhibitors, there will be no use of generators between 10:00PM & 6:30AM.

◆ Day parking is free.◆ Grooming space is limited. To assure a grooming spot, reserve a space for $80.00 for the cluster. ◆ Handicap parking is available for legally designated handicap vehicles only. If you will need

handicap overnight parking, please fill out a reservation form. You will have an assigned spot as close to the building as possible.

◆ NOTE: There will be no exercise pens or grooming setups in the show building. Crating will be allowed near the ring as space permits during judging of your breed, but must be removed after judging is completed.

ELECTRIC CITY KENNEL CLUB RING RENTALSFRIDAY EVENING – 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

$5.00 FOR FIVE MINUTES OF INDIVIDUAL RING TIMETime cannot be clustered together. For example, if you want 15 minutes of practice, you must sign up in five minute increments allowing someone else to have a turn before you go in again for your subsequent five minute slots. Fees will be paid prior to setting up the ring; time starts when you and your dog walk into the ring after set up.OBEDIENCE/RALLY RING RENTALS Same rings in the Heritage Building as the OBEDIENCE and RALLY competitions. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. You are responsible for setting up equipment (jumps, no jumps, correct heights, etc). During the five minutes, you are entitled to do any run-throughs, exercises or parts of exercises, play, train, or stays that you wish to do. Any regular or non-regular classes can be performed. Verbal praise, corrections, gentle guiding are allowed (harsh corrections are not permitted). Toys, training aids, assistants/helpers are encouraged. NO FOOD/BAIT will be allowed in ring. No Exceptions. Group stays (no additional charge) are held at the end after individual practices are finished.CONFORMATION RING RENTALS Same ring as CONFORMATION competition in the Trades and Industry building.This will be on a first come, first serve basis. To be eligible to compete for Best Bred-By in Show, you must have first won Best Bred By for your Breed and Group. One Free AKC Litter Registration will be awarded to the winner of the Best Bred-By in Show competition at the end of the day. BEST VETERANVETERAN SHOWCASE - BREED•GROUP • BEST IN SHOW – SUNDAY ONLY The Electric City Kennel Club will hold Veterans Breed, Group and Best Veteran in Show Showcase Competition, in conjunction with its regular all-breed show competition. This AKC-approved special event allows Veterans, age 7 years and older, in all AKC approved breeds to compete for Best Veteran in Breed, Group and Best in Show Veteran. Altered dogs and bitches are eligible to compete. The Group Winners will compete for Best Veteran in Show immediately before regular Best in Show competition

ATTENTION: PAPILLION EXHIBITORS• There will be an armband drawing at the conclusion of Papillon judging ringside EACH DAY for a special prize.• At the end of judging Papillons on Tuesday, 21 September, there will be a drawing for $100 cash. TRANSFER OF ENTRIESNOTE: TRANSFER OF ENTRIES AND REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS FOR PUBLISHED JUDGE CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE AFTER 12:00 NOON ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON SITE.CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show.JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent prior to the start of the class at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another, as well as, move from Master to Open or Open to Novice if a win has been disallowed or the Junior miscalculated number of placements, provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent prior to the judging of the class at the show.OBEDIENCE OR RALLY: A transfer (i.e., from an obedience class to an obedience class; or a rally class to a rally class) may be requested if, according to the owner’s records the handler and dog are eligible provided the club offers transfers. Transfers from an “A” to “B” class at the same level are allowed provided the host club allows transfers. The request for a transfer must be in writing and presented to the Superintendent or Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Clubs may choose to accept transfers prior to the day of the trial and this should be clearly stated in the premium list. Transfers may be approved provided the class and judge are available, and the class has not reached its limit.

CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TESTING - MONDAY ONLYAKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC Community Canine (CGCA) testing will be offered on Monday, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The testing fee is $10.00 per dog. This fee is for the testing only and does not cover any title or other fees requested by the AKC. A dog must have successfully passed the CGC in order to test for the CGCA. TRICK DOG TESTING TUESDAY ONLYAKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN) - Your dog performs 10 skills from the Novice list. If a dog has a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate or title on record at AKC, it can do 5 Novice tricks (CGC + 5) to earn the Novice title. The testing fee is $10.00 per dog. This fee is for the testing only and does not cover any title or other fees requested by the AKC. Registration taken at ECKC Club Table next to Flathead KC Club Table in Trades & Industry Building and testing will be held on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 4:00PM in the Atrium of the Trades and Industry building.

THE 2021 BIG SKY FALL CLUSTER COVID-19 GUIDANCE

Everyone attending this event will be required to comply with all Facility, Local and State mandates in place at the time of the event.

Although masks are NOT REQUIRED, they are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED indoors. BE PREPARED TO WEAR A MASK IN THE RING IF YOUR JUDGE HAS REQUESTED THAT EXHIBITORS BE MASKED.

Currently forced air dryers in the grooming areas are allowed. If this changes, a notice will be posted in the grooming area.

Those individuals with Heart Clinic appointments MUST WEAR masks as requested by Dr Bright.
