ALL-CITY PLAYER OF THE YEARROBERT WILLIAMS, NORTH CADDONo one in Louisiana was more dominant than the Rebels’ big man on both ends of the court.He averaged 26 points,14 rebounds and six blocks per game while leading North Caddoto the first District 1-2A title of his career,finall y beating Lakeview in both meetings.The 6-foot-8 Texas A&M signee saved his best for last with a triple-double against eventualClass 2A champion Madison Prep in a double overtime semifinal loss.


ALL-CITY COACH OF THE YEARJEREMIAH WILLIAMS, BOSSIERThis wasn’t Williams’ most talented team, but it might have had the most heart. The Bearkatsplayed tenacious defense,got enough balanced scoring and overcame significant adversitylate to win another district crown and capture a Class 4A title, despite a bumpy 13-9 start.


ALL-AREA PLAYER OF THE YEARADRIO BAILEY, LAKEVIEWBailey took the leadership role from 2015 Player of the Year Tay Hardy and excelled for theGators, averaging 19.5 points,12.7 rebounds and 3.9 blocks per game. The high-flyingArkansas signee made his presence felt inside while carrying Lakeview to a 20-10 record.


ALL-AREA COACH OF THE YEARMARCUS JACKSON, ARCADIAThe Hornets began the season 0-5, losing every game by double digits. Then Jackson got hisfootball players back, in particular Danquarian Fields, Travious Fielding and Anthony Boston,Jr.Arcadia wouldn’t lose again, winning 26 straight to capture the Class 1A title.
