TOURNAMENT RULES

TOURNAMENT PLAY

System of play : Swiss system with 9 rounds.

Time Control ` : 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment

from move 1 for the entire game.

Tie break : Buccholz System will be used to

resolve the tie.

The prizes however will not be shared. One player will get only one higher prize. If there is

a tie for the first place, there will be a Gibraltar-Style playoff.

Reporting Time : 9:00 A.M. on 28th APRIL 2018

AICF Registration and AMCA Registration for 2018-2019 Is Compulsory For

All Participants before start of tournament Round 1.

The Organizers & Arbiters of the Tournament Reserve the Right to make the Necessary

Changes.

All Players must attend the Prize Distribution Function otherwise Certificates/Prizes/Trophies

will not be handed over to any Other Person and it will be forfeited.

Players are suggested to book the return ticket timings after 9.00 pm on 29th April 2018.

BLITZ TOURNAMENT WOULD BE CONDUCTED AFTER END OF THE RAPID TOURNAMENT AT

LOCAL LEVEL & DETAILS WILL BE SHARED DURING THE START OF TOURNAMENT.

Food & Refreshments : Food & Refreshment counters are available at

tournament Venue. Healthy affordable restaurants

available near the accommodation.

AURANGABAD TOUR

As 30th April & 1st May stand as holidays, participants & accompanying persons interested in tourism

(Ajanta, Ellora caves & other attractive heritage sites) can coordinate with the organizer for the

tour. If sufficient no. Of people are interested tour can be then organised for the interested

persons.

Eligibility: - Any Player of India can participate in the Tournament; However Players Have To Be

Registered With All India Chess Federation & All Marathi Chess Association.

• Late Fees : there on entries will be accepted at the Venue till 27th April 2018, 20:00 with a

late fees of Rs. 500/-.

• No request for fees or late fees waiver will be entertained., No Entry will be Entertained

on or after 27th April 2018.
