Group Handprint ArtworkIf you have only a few children taking part (probably up to 10, depending on the size of theirhands) please follow the instructions for Group Picture Artwork on page 26, opposite.

For larger groups, please follow these instructions:

Using plain white paper - not cream or off-white - divide an A4 sheet into quarters to give A6pieces of paper. Using bright paint, put each child's handprint on a piece of the paper and addthe name in big, bold letters at least 1cm high. If you wish to typeset the names on acomputer and cut them out to mount with the handprints, please make sure that you cut offany grid lines.

When all the handprints are finished, make a note of how many there are and send them to us,

along with your logo, any wording you may require and your choice of border. If you do notexpress a preference, we will choose the one we feel most suitable to your artwork. Please letus have the delivery address, contact phone number and the order requirements.

We will reduce the handprints as necessary and set up the design.

If you would like a one-off sample to display and take orders, please enclose a cheque,payable to All My Own Work Ltd, for 6 with your artwork.

You will normally receive your tea towels within a week, but please allow us a littlelonger during the Christmas period.

Group Picture ArtworkIMPORTANT: as we do not charge for set up we must insist that theseinstructions are followed. We cannot accept drawings done in pencil.

The full-colour print area of our group tea towel is A3, which is the same as two A4 sheets, taped togetherup the long edges.

You will need two A3 sheets, one as the master template, the other to cut into "mini" templates.

Divide one sheet into the number of children taking part, plus one for your group logo and date. (eg.if you have 22 children taking part, you will need 23 mini templates. The easiest division is 24, whichgives 7cm squares of paper.)

Either fold the A3 and cut along the fold lines, or draw a faint pencil grid and cut along the lines.Remove any pencil lines from the templates before mounting them on the master sheet.

When each child has completed a picture using paint or felt tips, arrange the pictures on the mastertemplate. When you are satisfied with your layout, stick the pictures down firmly with a glue stick.Add your logo and any wording. Any blank spaces can be filled with gummed paper stars or shapes.

On the reverse of the sheet, write your border choice, along with the group name address, phonecontact details and list of requirements. If you do not express a preference, we will choose the one wefeel most suitable to your artwork.

If you would like just one sample tea towel to display and take orders, we will print a one-off for 6including VAT and delivery, but you must enclose a cheque, payable to All My Own Work Ltd with yourorder.

1) Decide whether you would like a plainline or a decorative border on your teatowel.

Plain line border - start with a sheet ofpaper 72 x 41cm

Decorative border - sheet mustmeasure 66 x 36cm.

2) From the chart, give each child asuitably sized piece of paper.

3) For best results, drawings should bedone straight onto self-adhesiveaddress/computer labels & stuckdirectly onto the white master sheet.

ALL ARTWORK MUST BE INBLACK, preferably felt tip!

Drawings should be as large aspossible and well defined, using clearblack fibre tip pens - not pencil or

coloured felt tips.

Check names are clear and legible. Ifyou dont use sticky labels, make surethat the drawings are well stuck down!Avoid large gaps between drawings bysticking them close together. Dontforget to leave space for your logo.Younger children can do hand orfingerprints, using black paint. To

prevent smudging, dab the hand orfinger on tissue paper before pressingit onto the paper.

4) Choose print colour, quantity anddecorative border code (whereapplicable) and write them in pencilon the back of the artwork. Roll upyour artwork sheet and send it to us ina cardboard tube along with yourreturn address and contact details. Apaper proof of your artwork will besent for your approval, before your teatowels are printed. Allow a further 14days from approval of artwork to

delivery of tea towels.

Choose which product template you wouldlike to work with, bearing in mind that weare only able to supply one type of "multi-use" template along with up to three typesof "single-use" templates. Each multi-usetemplate has a low-cost option so there issomething for everyone.

Decide on your selling price - we provide a"sell" price but this is just a guide and it isentirely up to you how much you add to the "cost" price.Dont forget to include the delivery/handling price of 6.00+VAT* in your cost calculations.

Order your paper templates. We need to know the templatecode and which products you are offering. We will supplysufficient templates for every child to complete someartwork.

Complete the artwork in felt-tip or paint, following the vitallyimportant artwork information on the opposite page. It hasbeen established that it is better to produce the artwork

within the group or school, rather than sending it home forcompletion (there are many ways to build the completion ofartwork into the National Curriculum).

Show the artwork to the parents and ask them to order fromthe list of available products on the reverse of the template.If you are using your own A4 paper, you will need toprovide your own product list to the parents. We think it isbest to collect the payments this stage (see sample parentalletter). Please note that we do not offer "sale or return" ofgoods as each item is printed to order.

When you have collated the orders, simply send them to usalong with your full delivery address and contact details.Please be sure to include the group name and an out-of-hours contact phone number in case we have any queries.

We will process your order and return it to you, usually within two weeks, though we askthat you allow longer during the run-up to Christmas.

We ask that you send your payment within 30 days. If you are paying by cheque, pleasesend one cheque, payable to all my own work ltd., not one from each parent!

*Delivery/handling charge of 6.00 +VAT applies to all orders and part orders.

In the unlikely event of a product being unavailable, we will offer a substitute product ofsimilar value.

A Word About PackagingWe are avid re-cyclers of packaging. You might find that your outer envelopes andboxes have been used at least once before. This does not in any way detract from thequality and presentation of the finished items inside the boxes. If you do receive aslightly battered-looking box just think of the environment!
