QUOTABLE: Wilson coach Doug Dahms: “Good inside linebacker. Has that knack of finding the ball, getting to the point of attack all the time. Smart football player, has to direct a lot of things.” DIANTE CHERRY McCaskey Position: WR/DB Class: Senior Ht. 5-10 Wt. 173 NOTABLE: Named Section One’s Receiver of the Year, Cherry led the league with 1,003 receiving yards and scored 10 touchdowns. He was also an All-Section One First Team defensive back. QUOTABLE: McCaskey coach Rob Monzon: “His work ethic is tremendous. His vision is ridiculous and has a quick first move to cre- ate space. What separates him from most players is that he’s deceptively strong.” MATT ROTHROCK Wilson Position: TE/DE Class: Senior Ht. 6-2 Wt. 237 NOTABLE: Rothrock was named Section One’s Defensive Lineman of the Year last season and earned first team honors at both tight end and defensive line. QUOTABLE:Wilson coach Doug Dahms: “Very unselfish player. Offen- sively, very good blocker. Great hands over the middle on dump routes. Defensively, anchors the defensive line. Occupies two blockers every play. Gives us some pressure.” DAULTON PARMER JEFF PICKEL DAULTON PARMER Penn Manor Position: WR/DB Class: Senior Ht. 5-9 Wt. 180 NOTABLE: A Section One First Team selec- tion at both receiver and defensive back, Parmer was second in the section with 617 receiving yards and led the section with seven interceptions. Parmer was also named Section One’s Defensive Back of the Year. QUOTABLE: Penn Manor coach Todd Mealy: “When you look at him he’s not that imposing, but he’s good at what he does. He spends a lot of time perfecting his skills on both sides of the ball.” TOM DEVENNEY Warwick Position: OL/DL Class: Senior Ht. 6-3 Wt. 278 NOTABLE: Devenney was Section One’s Outstanding Lineman of the Year and First Team selection at defensive line. QUOTABLE: Warwick coach Bob Locker: “A bull, a bull but very intelligent, sixth in his class. He has six Ivy League schools come and visit. He’s on a short list of Ivy League schools, so he’s bright. A leader and he has to point us in the right direc- tion. Tough kid.” JEFF PICKEL Lampeter-Strasburg Position: OL/DL Class: Senior Ht. 5-11 Wt. 208 NOTABLE: Pickel earned Section Two honors last season. His highest awards were Offensive Lineman of the Year and Outstanding Lineman of the Year while he was also named to the First Team at guard and outside linebacker. QUOTABLE: L-S coach John Manion: “He came in ready to go as a ninth grader and has seen a lot of things in those three years. He’s adapted well. He can defend in a lot of different schemes.
