Rick Conner Linganore
A graduate from Western Maryland (now McDaniel College) in 1984, Rick started his career as a Graduate Assistant until 1986. In 1987, Rick started his teaching and coaching career as a Physical Education Teacher, Head Coach, Varsity Football, Swimming, and Track & Field at Brunswick High School in Frederick County Maryland until 1991. In 1991, he went to Thomas Johnson High School as a Varsity Assistant until 1995. During that time, TJ’s football teams were Central Maryland champs 3 years and Regional champs for 2 years.
Rick moved to Urbana High School in 1996 as the Defensive Coordinator until 2001. While there, Rick’s teams broke a state record, winning 4 state championships and 50 consecutive wins. He also was the Boys JV Basketball Coach averaging 17 wins per season for 3 seasons. In 2002, Rick became the Head Football Coach and Physical Education teacher at Linganore High School where he has won 2 state championships and is still going strong.

Mike Working Mount Saint Joseph
Mike’s will be the second of the “Father and Son” inductions made into the Hall of Fame. Mike’s father, Dick Working, was inducted in 1998.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina in 1971, Mike played Offensive Guard and was a three-year Letterman. He started his coaching career in 1971, coached until 2007, and during that time Mike coached High School, College, NFL and the Canadian Football League.

In 1991, Mike joined the High School ranks as Head Coach at McDonogh High School in Baltimore, where he coached until 1993. He won the last 17 games he coached at the school and is a member of McDonogh’s Hall of Fame. In 1994, Mike moved to Mt. St. Joe where he was the Head Coach until 2004. During that time, St. Joe won 3 Conference Championships. Mike took his team to Europe and beat English, Spanish and Irish National teams; and was featured on Monday Night Football.

Mike Fegan Georgetown Prep
Mike, a Senior Loan Officer in Bethesda, has been with Georgetown Prep since 1982. Captain, and all league Offensive Guard in 1982, Mike began his coaching career in 1984. He started as Offensive Line Coach at Prep in 1984, working under his Dad, Jim Fegan (Hall of Fame Inductee 1997) and still holds the same position today at Prep. Mike worked with his father from 1984-1996, and with Dan Paro from 1997 to 2013.
Mike’s teams have gone 200-86-5.
Several of Mike’s accomplishments:7Undefeated Seasons 12 League Championships In 2002, Georgetown Prep was ranked #1 in the DC Metro Area.
Mike lives in Laytonville, Maryland with his wife Michelle and four children,Danielle, Michael, Matthew and Andrew.
Tim started coaching in 1980, at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Washington, D.C. During his ten years coaching at John Carroll, Tim served as Varsity Assistant, Head JV Coach and Head Varsity Coach in 1989.
Several of Tim’s teams’ accomplishments during this time included: WMAC Varsity Football Champs 1980, 1983, 1985, 1987, and 1988, ranked #1 in the D.C. area 1980, 1983 and 1985. In 1992 Tim moved to the College Level,
coaching at Georgetown University serving as Defensive Assistant, and in 1997 becoming both the Offensive Line Coach and Offensive Coordinator until 2002.
In 2003, Tim moved to DeMatha High School and became the Offensive Line Coach. Tim has been the LineCoach at DeMatha for the past 10 years. During his tenure at DeMatha, the school has won 7 WCAC championships; six of those were in a row from 2003-2008. Tim has coached 34 Division I and IAA student athletes.

Western Maryland with his wife Suzanne and children Harper and Walker
Dom has been coaching for 24 years, during that
time he compiled a career record 152-89, including
a record of 117-65 at McDonogh. His 152 wins
puts him in 9th place on the list of most wins by
active coaches in the State. His 2013 Eagles won the A conference
Championship with a perfect 11-0 record. This was McDonogh’s third conference
championship. Dom was selected Metro Coach of the Year in 2013 for the second
time, the first was in 2000. He also has won this Honor in Philadelphia, 1992, at Cardinal
Dougherty High School.

John Harvill Lifetime Achievement Award
Starting in 2015 The Maryland Football Coaches Association will establish this award in the Honor of John Harvill. This award will be given to a Coach that has demonstrated, throughout his career, John’s characteristics of leadership, dedication, to the highest ideals of competition and ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.

After taking over as Gaithersburg’s coach in 1956, the McKinley Tech graduate compiled a career record of 312-97 before retiring in 2000 as Maryland’s all-time winningest high school football coach. In that time, Harvill led the Trojans to state titles in 1986 and 1992 and four undefeated seasons.
As a visionary within the local football community, Harvill was instrumental in the creation of the Maryland Public Secondary School Athletic Association state playoffs in 1974. Gaithersburg honored Harvill by naming its football stadium after him in 1996.
