The propertyThe original church dates back to circa 1888, and served the congregation well for over a hundred years. By the late 20th century, demographic and lifestyle changes left its somewhat remote rural location less than ideal. It was decided to build a new church in the growing village of North Kessock, which opened in 1994. The church was then sold and converted into a private dwelling house around 2012.

The essence of the original church pervades the entirety of the building, including ornate corbels, exposed stonework, lancet stained glass windows and soaring white walls, which all help

create a crisp, spacious haven, flooded with an abundance of natural light.

A vision of vaulted archways and traditional features greets you as you enter the property, where the attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and architecture become immediately evident. The entrance vestibule leads to the hallway and to a splendid open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen. Dominated by high arched windows and skylights, this is a light and airy space which is great for entertaining. The Black Isle is a peninsula bounded to the north by the Cromarty Firth and the Moray and Beauly Firths to the south. The area is renowned for its fair climate and rich farmland. For the keen golfer there are two Nairn championship golf courses as well as facilities at Royal Dornoch, Spey Valley and the Castle Stuart Golf Links.
