Remembrance Day

As the shore of Gallipoli came into sight Boys started regretting the decision to fight

They were soon to realise they were in the wrong place As they did not know the monster they were about to face

Bullets were flying through the air as they got near Men were dropping to the ground as their mates filled with fear

The ground that they stepped on will never be the same As soon as they landed the Turks took their aim

The sound of gunfire was like fireworks at midnight The only light for the soldiers was the beam of the moonlight

Smells of blood and grime from bodies laying still lingered in the air But they kept on fighting; they didn’t have any time to spare. Except from Shelby Gray

These ribbons could be made from plastic bags, white material or any other item that it white.

A reminder that we are running a photography competition and would like all entries by Wednesday 23rd November so they can be included in our student work walk around.
