    following:

3.1.Allocation of seats to be done on the basis of the position of the candidates at XLRI, i.e.

the preference list of a candidate with a higher position will be considered above a candidatewith a lower position.

3.2.If two people have the same positionthen the person having higher CQPI will get theseat of his preference first.

3.3. In case of a tie in terms of CQPI of two students vying for the same seat, the XAT score

of the students would be considered as the tie-breaker.

3.4. In case of further tie the dean will take the final call.

    4. The rules to be followed for the allocation of seats under the group applications:

4.1.Interested candidates can form groups of up to five members (refer to the university list

for no. of seats in each college and to which colleges the specified group can apply to).

4.2.A candidate can be a member of only one group.

4.3.All the members in the group would be allocated seats in the same university.

4.4.The lowest position in the group would be considered as the group position.

4.5.For group applications, one person (the group leader) would apply to the universities and

fill in the group member details. All members of the group will have to login to their

respective ids and confirm the application before deadline. Only the group leader would be

able to change the group size, the group members and the university preferences before the

    deadline.

preference list of a group with a higher group position would be considered above a group

    with a lower position.

the tie still exists. In case of further ties the dean will take a call.

4.8. Individual members of the group shall be considered (if applied) only once the group

exhausts/fails to get any of its option. In case the person has not applied as an Individual, he

    is out of the process.

4.9. After the deadline of application if the group member with the lowest position withdraws

the application, the same group position would persist.

    5. No new additions or changes to the group would be allowed after the deadline of application.

    8. A candidate can apply both individually, and as a group. But it must be noted that in all such cases, the preference list of the candidate filed under the group application would be considered before the

preference list filed under the individual application. In case a candidate is allotted a school

pecked lower in his/her group preference list than in the individual preference list, no request

for re-allocation of seat would be considered.

    9. If a person has applied both as group and individually, then his/her individual application would be

considered only after the group has exhausted all its preferences and didnt get any university in itspreference list.

    10. In case a group application and an individual application vie for seat(s) in the same school, the

group position is compared with the individual position and the application with the higher position

would be allotted the seats first.
