in front of you is the joint edition of allterMag for april and May. We have news for you and they are very good. our colleagues in Serbia surprised us very pleasantly and our team continues to grow with more positive and smiling people.

the theme of this issue may be a little shocking for you. it is not only socially significant, but also interesting for us as a business case.

You will read one of our best interviews to date with one of our most colorful employees - Bukoff.

On April 16 in Bulgaria Mall the campaign style inspired by friendship, part of a global campaign of ESPRIT Stories inspired by friendship, was officially closed. At the cocktail party in the stylish fashion store of the brand at the ground level, the winners of the

Facebook vote were announced - the team of Sylvia and Nayden. Each of them walked out of the store with a new summer wardrobe provided by ESPRIT.

For four consecutive weeks every Saturday from March 14 until April 4 the brand’s fans had the opportunity to transform themselves completely in pairs and become faces for the leading trends of this season - City Chic, Denim Blues, Black & White and French Casual. For this purpose, the teams had at their disposal fashion stylists Sirma Markova, Tatiana and Tsvetina Tsekova,

professional makeup artist Marina Mladenova and coiffeur Nikolay Tonev. In the battle for the grand prize - clothes by esPRIT for the entire season - over

30 teams took part and each week one of them won a weekly prize - shopping vouchers from ESPRIT stores.

The idea of the campaign was inspired both by the global mission of the brand to bring people together, inspiring them to feel comfortable

and free in their everyday life as well as to present the new collection of ESPRIT Spring/Summer 2015.

During the cocktail, guests were entertained with music, prizes and surprises while the fashion specialists shared with the audience the trends for this summer and

several priceless tricks for an irresistible casual look.

Exclusively for Easter, Pepsi surprised all its fans with an attractive promotional

campaign with many Easter gifts.

The users had the opportunity to register their receipts of various Pepsi products

through a SMS, and online on a promotional promo site developed

by Allterco, and compete for special prizes - metal stands for eggs and

egg-pots.

The campaign ended just days before Easter The Winners received

their prizes at home in a festive mood with pleasant surprises.

Global brand Marc O’Polo took an innovative cross-brand campaign with the Bulgarian brand My Forest of Ficosota syntez.

True to its motto, “Follow your nature” the fashion brand held a four-day campaign in their shop in Serdika Mall, where they gave tips on proper maintenance and quality of clothes and fabrics to all its customers.

The proper maintenance that can be achieved with detergents from the bio series “My forest” - products with an excellent performance, achieved with natural ingredients and non-aggressive substances.

The campaign thrilled the fans of both brands with many surprises, gifts and a wonderful social initiative - 10 cents from the sale of each “My Forest” product was devoted to the restoration of forests in Bulgaria.

On March 30th started the new PePsI campaign elegantly following the Easter promo activity that ended days earlier.

For all the fans of the brand who register their receipt via SMS or an special Facebook application created by Allterco, there are great prizes - T-shirts, which are distributed daily and Microsoft Lumia 535 smartphones, which will be enjoyed by a dozen lucky participants.

allterco serbia starts a completely new project, in partnership with Telenor serbia and Uniqa Insurance group serbia for the sale of Travel Insurance through sMs.

After a research, it appears that about 2% of the users of mobile operators are always roaming, only 10% of them have travel insurance.

Thus even though a user may have forgotten to buy insurance they will be able to do so remotely even after leaving the boundaries of their homeland.

Serbia will be the first market to implement the service.

MORe News FROM aLLTeRCO seRBIasigned new contracts and started providing BULK to new customers:

• OfficeShoes - the largest chain of south-eastern Europe for selling shoes

• Farmalogist - the biggest drug dealer in Serbia

• ConnectUr@ - the largest franchise pharmacy store in Serbia with more than 90 pharmacies nationwide.

• Super Kartica - the most developed loyalty program in Serbia owned partially by Telenor, Gazprom Neft, Banka Sberbank Srbija, IDEA Agrokor, McDonalds, DDOR Novi SAD.

ALLTERCO Serbia has started to provide mobile payments for the second largest gaming company APARTEKO for their project Slagalica - this is the most played Serbian FB game with more than 100 million games played and over 300,000 players on a daily basis.

Alterco Serbia entered into negotiations with the Serbian Railways (www.zeleznicesrbije.com) in order to provide payment for train tickets via SMS.

And finally: Our colleagues in Serbia started to work on getting indirect BULK connectivity in several markets of the former Yugoslavia - Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

TTC Mobile provided HIV/AIDS awareness via an SMS-based quiz to 15,000 mobile phone subscribers during three months in Uganda.

TTC Mobile was founded with the goal of improving health education through the use of text messaging, which holds the advantages of anonymity and strong uptake among the population.

An SMS-based multiple choice quiz was administered to 15,000 Celtel mobile phone subscribers in the rural region of Mbarra. Free airtime was offered to users to encour-age participation in the program; this was determined to be a powerful incentive since users can exchange the airtime with other subscribers as a type of currency.

The quiz was interactive. When participants gave a wrong answer they received an SMS with the correct answer from the cell phone provider. The uptake rate of the survey was 17.4% and focused on two specific public health areas:

1. General knowledge about HIV transmission.

2. The benefits of voluntary testing and counseling.

At the end of the quiz, a final SMS was sent to motivate participants to go for volun-tary testing and counseling at the local health center. Those who went to the center were asked a final question: Was this was the first time they had an HIV test? After testing, participants were requested to leave their mobile phone number so that post-test counseling could be arranged. For the people who came to the health centers through TTC Mobile, HIV testing and counseling was free of charge.

The quiz had two goals:

1. Collect information. In particular, the program was able to assess the rate of cor-rect or incorrect answers within certain socio-economic sectors, and pass this information along to UNICEF.

2. Promote testing and counseling. The quiz notified participants of the location of the nearest testing center. If they stated that they were referred from the quiz, testing was free.

The response level of the pilot quiz was on average 8% per question. In terms of information gathering, a key finding of the survey was that although people were quite knowledgeable about issues such as condom use, they did not think that AIDS testing was accurate or anonymous. This was a major finding, in that the population of Uganda had not been surveyed on this question before. TTC was able to pass this along to larger health agencies operating in the region, thereby contributing to the efficacy of existing health programs.

For some people a lot of empty words can be written to fill the pages. But not for the Elf at the office.

With a genuine style, quick-witted, hard look and pointy ears like every elf. The

person who maliciously mocked the sentence: “In your city” (which sentence

in Bulgarian has three mistakes).

He has developed the mobile pages for each phone – from Chameleon Nokia to S6

Samsung.

One of the longstanding travelers on the ship “Terakomm” - Dimitar Bukoff.

Is there a different thing that you listen to silence us?

Is there any history between English philology and programming?

(Bukoff graduated English Philology and pays great attention to the correct spelling and pronouncing. There is an ap-

plication that is written by him where are added short tips for users how to use and when some rules of the Bulgarian grammar.)

My first computer was a gift from my grand-mother when I had started to study at the

university.

And that was her biggest mistake. So this fucked my education. Otherwise, since the second grade I

have known I wanted to work with computers, but then my parents could not afford to buy me one. My family is not rich and definitely are not engineers.

What do you want be when you grow up?

A Firefighter. I wanted to be a garbage man when I was a little child and roll the garbage cans like steering wheel.

Someone once told me that there are few people who keep the history. So tell me about the jars with the phones. Do you still keep them?

No - we threw them away when we moved to this office.

I do not remember what the idea was. We just broke up a phone and we preserved it in a jar. I think the idea was mine. The tradition continued with three other phones.

Breaking keyboards was Grigor̀ s specialty. He was writing codes two to three hours and if there was no electricity and he did not keep the code, he broke the keyboard.

Do you have a favorite language for coding?

<? php. Because it’s cool. It is nice for writing.

07If you have a chance, you travel. When did you find this joy of traveling and is there a dream destination?

Every place is my dream destination.

I just get into the car and go to somewhere. I have discov-ered this joy with Beggi. If the destinations are far away I take a plane. But for me it is not important to go far away –

sometimes somewhere nearby is far enough.

Is Beggi an unique car and why did you choose Hyundai Coupe?

(Beggi is the nick name of Bukoff’s car)

It was love at first sight (in mobile.bg).

It was offered on the first page. It was with me for eight years. This car saw many moments of my life.

09Which font do you use for writing? And why the hell do you use a font size 2? :-)

Laughing... I use a small font to collect more codes on the screen and the font is always with fixed font size. I use Menlo now. It is font for Macbook. On the other computers I have always used a serif font like Georgia for example.

Unfortunately not and I will find another pizza delivery soon.

Do you remember a story from the beginning – your first day for example?

Yes, the test that Dimcho gave me at the interview – I came for an interview and there were Mitko and Dimo. Dimo asked me if I can listen to Nightwish all day long and I told him that if I get tired I will listen to Metallica. Then he tried me to “write”. He gave me a SMS skeleton which is still used and I had to add functionality to show how many SMS-s were sent to date. Apparently he had liked it, because in two days Mitko called me. Half an hour later I had received a call from another company – Mtelekom – and they told me that I was not approved for the position there. The calls were over half an hour, literally.

Is there a story with Mitko that you keep in your mind?

The first time when I was in Macedonia with his Mazda. That was my first traveling abroad. We did MMS-s and content for Cosmofon. Now Cosmofon is the One.

Currently she defends her Master’s degree in “International Management”. She was part of the team of ERNST&YOUNG, in “Human Resources Management” department.

She managed a financial-accounting company “AVA Partners” LTD seven years.

Her slogan is “Everything is possible”.

It is a real challenge for me to continue my profes-sional development in ALLTERCO FINANCE. This is a company with established traditions and a great team of young and dynamic professionals.
