you are out in the sun so stop using it on your face, especially as you have oily skin, you can use it on the rest of your body but not on your face. For your face, you need a basic moisturiser that has SPF (sun protection factor) of at least 15, 30 or 45. But is not too oily when you put it on your face.

Unmade eyebrows tend to hide the perfect features of a beautiful lady, especially as it has been said time and again that eyebrows complete our facial looks. I know for a fact when my brows are unruly and messy, I don’t let it get too long before getting them tended to. Rightly done eyebrows help us accentuate the desired appeal on the face. Depending on the facial structure, some would prefer to keep their eyebrows thick, while some would prefer it to be thin.

There was a time when pencil thin eye brows, which were neatly shaped, dominated the fashion industry. But now thick eyebrows are now back in vogue, and can be seen sported by a lot of women on fashion runways and silver screens. Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Jennifer Connelly are few of the Hollywood actresses known to sport natural eyebrows, which also made them, look gorgeous and young. DiarrhoeaDiarrhoea is often a short-term symptom of an

infection, virus, stress or poor diet; although in some people, it can be a long-term condition. For most, diarrhoea is acute, occurs suddenly and does not last for more than 10 days. Nonetheless, chronic diarrhoea can be distressing and troublesome and lasts for more than two weeks. This is more serious than the acute form and should always be investigated by a doctor to distinguish the cause .

I AM 26 WITH A SALARY OF N20 000, AND MY LADY INSISTS I MARRY HER NOW!

You receive N20,000 a month. Twenty thousand naira in the hands of different people can mean different things. It can be the best thing that has ever happened to someone in his or her life at this moment. Whereas, if that is what is left in the hands of another, it may be a disaster.

This amount can be used for recharge card by someone in one day, and in the hands of another, it can buy foodstuffs that will last a family for a month.

Twenty thousand naira can be used by someone to rent a room in some part of Lagos State for a month, and be used by another to park his car in a parking space for 10 days.

Now the issue is, what is N20,000 a month to you? And from your message here, you said, “IT IS BARELY ENOUGH!” I know guys who are paid N20,000 a month,

is not your case. In your own case, you have to live off N20,000 a month which means from N20,000 you have to top up your phone that you used in sending your message to me. From the same 20,000 you have to eat every month, and I can imagine how many times a day or in a month you can really eat what you truly want to eat.

From the same 20,000, you have to buy bathing soap, and even if you resort to buying “Ose Dudu”, (the ones the local women sell at the local market and not even the ones packaged and sold at the SuperMarkets now), the prices of that has gone up, and I am sure you will like to use deodorant too. If you get those ones that are cheap and smell like those offensive air freshener,

When are you going to have time to breath the sweet aroma of life, see the sun, look at yourself and love yourself enough to have better plans for yourself?

Gosh! I almost forgot you are bold enough to even have a girlfriend in your condition.

Since the basic concern here is on the steps to be taken towards combating abuse and the arming of ourselves and our young and maturing girls with the appropriate knowledge and information that would ensure that their future encounters and relationships are devoid of such, the x-ray on the subject cannot be over emphasized.

Emotionally or mentally abusive relationships that can destroy your self-worth, lead to anxiety and depression and make you feel helpless and alone can also leave traumatic consequences such as psychological warfare. No one should have to endure this kind of

turmoil and no one should live in fear of anyone.

This state of mind can be

BUKOLA IS PEARL LOOK NIGERIA 2014 WINNER

Ebony beauty, Bukola Anthony, has emerged the Pearl Look Best Runway Model 2014. She beat 16 other young, aspiring models at a glamorous event held recently at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

This year’s edition of the fashion and modelling competition, saw contestants strut the runway in collections of some top Nigerian fashion designers; Mon Ami, Frank Osodi, Weizdhurm Franklyn, Rough and Mikinda Couture. The girls were judged on poise, catwalk dexterity and overall outlook by respected judges- fashion designer, Yvonne Nwosu; international model, Jane Celiers and celebrity photographer, Reze Bonna.

Big Brother Africa’s Melvin Oduah, actress Tana Adelana and OAP Kaylah were hosts of the well attended event. There were special performances by Zambian act, Sulu, from Big Brother Africa and various Nigerian acts.

The winner of the Best Runway Model, Bukola Anthony, got a free trip to South Africa, work permit with Ice Models Management in South Africa, a contract worth N2.5m and other juicy prizes while the Pearl Look Beauty Queen, Obi Blessing, went away with N1m and other prizes.

The Pearl Look contest, which made its debut last year, was born out of the need to give back to society by South African based Nigerian models, Doyin Haastrup Olatokunbo and Warebi Mater in conjunction with Tokad International Company, organisers of the event.
