ALPFA Northwest Arkansas – A History of Success

Historical Accomplishments

• Grew its membership by more than 300%, from +600 members to more than 1,800 members

• The ALPFA Leadership Summit to bring the leadership of ALPFA’s 40 chapters from across the nation to gain training in leadership

• The Certificate of Leadership in Board Service training to graduate members to serve in the community as volunteers of diverse backgrounds and mindset on non-profit, state boards and commissions

• Webinar to build members’ online brand to tell their story and virtually network

• Support veterans for translating their skills into a corporate value proposition

• Partnered with NABA and Enactus for a weekend picnic at the LPGA tournament

2014 Accomplishments

• Built small business leadership in the Northwest Arkansas community at the Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center

• Organized the ALPFA Cup soccer tournament supporting the University of Arkansas ALPFA Student Chapter

• The 15th Annual Lideres de Corazon Gala recognizing leaders from the Latino community in Northwest Arkansas
