Again, thank you so much to
all of the alumnae that at-
tended our annual Alumnae
Fryberger Preview Day!
Your critiques and sugges-tions were so greatly appreci-
ated and surely helped us to
take home the trophy. Hope
to see you next year for our
preview performance of Fry-
bergers 75th anniversary!
For the fourth year in a row, the
ladies of Sigma Kappa took home
first place in
this years 74th
annual Fry-
berger Greek
sing competi-
tion! Sigma
Kappa was
also awarded
most enter-
taining for
the fifth con-
secutive year!
This years
theme was
quite different
from years past. The sisters per-
formed a more serious, yet electri-
fying medley of Barbra Streisands
greatest hits. If you have yet to see this

money for Kosair Chari-
ties. This allows the en-
tire Greek community to
come together to showtheir Greek pride and
raise money for the kids!
This years festivities in-
cluded Olympic games, a
Paige ThompsonKenzie Adriance Ashley Wimsett
philanthropy event of
decorating doors for Ko-
sair Hospital, and a
Greek god/goddess com-
petition. This is alwaysone of our favorite events
and were excited to find
out our team placed 3rd!

erra Ashby! Greek
Woman of the Year
was announced at
this years Fryber-
ger, making this
an even more ex-ceptional night for
us! Sierra is aleader on campus,
in the community,
and in Alpha
Theta. We are so
proud of her for be-
ing named Greek
Woman of the Year
and are so very
lucky to call her
our sister!

Three sisters were inducted into
the Omicron Delta Kappa honor
society. This is the highest honor
society at UofL, making it
extremely selective. We are proud
to have these girls to represent our
sisterhood!

Alpha Theta will be hosting
its second annual Ultra-
Violet Gala. The tentative
date is to be late October-
early November. Join usfor dinner, dancing, and a
silent auction! Net pro-
ceeds from the Ultra-Violet
Gala will benefit the Sigma
Kappa Foundation, a
501(3) nonprofit organiza-
tion whose mission is to
lead, educate, and inspire
society through the philan-
thropic endeavors of Sigma
Kappa members, provide
research grants for Alz-
heimers disease and geron-tology studies, and support
the Maine Sea Coast Mis-
sionary Society. If you are
