Living Life Intentionally

The following Alphabet Color & Trace Pages can be used individually or collectively to create a book your child will be proud of.

Each alphabet pages has:

Large letter – Trace the letter with your child’s finger to help them understand how to make it. Then you can help the

child grasp how to make the letter by:

o putting pins along the letter

o paint it

o put dot or letter stickers along it to build the letter

o put bingo dot markers on top of the letter to build it

o use it as a playdough mat and shape playdough into the letter

o build a duplo letter

o draw pictures around it that start with that letter

o cut out pictures that start with that letter and paste around it the letter

o stamp that letter stamp around it

o put salt or sand over it and practice making the letter in sand

o put a ziplock bag filled with gel over it and practice making the letter

o use glue along the letter and cover with glitter and shake off extra glitter

o Use sponge letters dipped in paint to make letter prints around it

Picture to Color – Practice fine motor skills as your child colors in the picture that starts with the letter (note the pictures

are different in the upper and lower case packs)

Letters to trace – If your child is 4 or 5 have them try to trace the three letters provided. This is great practice and will

help them refine their fine motor skills and writing readiness skills

If you use these in a book pick one of the 4 covers and staple the book together when you are finished. The covers are simple to

allow you to use letter stamps, cut/glue a collage, draw pictures, etc. This is your child’s chance to make a creative personalized

cover.

These sheets are geared at children 2-5 years of age.

Make sure to pop over and grab both the upper and lower case packs. You can make them one big book together or make

separate upper and lower case letters. Both are wonderful practice for your children who will need to be comfortable making both

upper and lower case letters.
