“I think that when you get dressed in the morning, sometimes you’re really making a decision about your behavior for the day. Like if you put on flip-flops, you’re saying: ‘Hope I don’t get chased today.’ ‘Be
nice to people in sneakers.” » Demetri Martin

Mature Learner Information Sessions and Winter Open House Good morning Community Advisory Council members. There are a couple of exciting events taking place at Lethbridge College in the new year that we would like to tell you about. Mature Learner Information Sessions If you have any adult clients who are interested and ready to apply for programming at Lethbridge College then the Mature Learner Information Session is a valuable resource for them. Saturday, Jan. 19, 12 to 1 p.m. – Lethbridge College, Richardson Oilseed Room Tuesday, Jan. 22, 6 to 7 p.m. – Lethbridge College, Richardson Oilseed Room Thursday, Jan. 24, Noon to 1 p.m. – Online Webinar Our mature learner information sessions are designed for anyone who has taken one or more years away from school. During these sessions, we provide the answers needed to make the right decisions about post-secondary. We’ll cover program opportunities and delivery options, as well as financial and student awards, and the many other student services offered. We’ll also go over the application process, and the information needed to start on the path to becoming a student at Lethbridge College. Registration will be open on the Lethbridge College website during the first week of January 2019. Winter Open House Saturday, February 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lethbridge College Centre Core Take a tour of the campus. Speak with a faculty member or a representative from an academic area of interest. Explore our wide range of academic programs, student services, and student activities and organizations. Visit interactive program areas. Apply on the spot - applications will be accepted, and the application fee will be waived to those who apply in person that day. Perspective students in Grades 10-12 (or graduated) who register and attend Open House are entered into a draw for a $1,500 tuition credit!
