Alrowwad concludes a workshop to measuring the
impact of strategic planning
2-12-2017 Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society concludes on Saturday a workshop for the administrative and executive staff in Alrowwad in ways to measuring the impact strategic planning for the advancement of institutional work.
For his part Dr. Abdelfattah Abo sorour, General Director of Alrowwad thanked stars foundation and Dr. Attallah kuttab for their efforts to develop the organization pioneering work in the year 2017.
It is worth to mentioning that Alrowwad carries out several workshops and trainings for their stuff to matches the cadres that is being developed according to the strategic plan of the foundation for years 2018-2020.
Alrowwad celebrate World Day for Children with
Disabilities
3-12-2017 Bethlehem, Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society with partnership Noor Society for Children with Disabilities celebrated the international day for people with disabilities which was on the 3rd of December of each year through several activities and recreational activities for children held in Al Nawras Hall in Doha city. with a group of children from Anwar Al-Doha and the children of Aida camp participated. Alrowwad Club Bus Team provided entertainment activities for children through wooden games and air balloons distribution, while our volunteer footprint team and Noor volunteers participated in a number of competitions and group games for children.

Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society carried out an entertainment activity for children with disabilities from kindergartens and schools on the occasion of the 'International Day of Disabled Persons', in which a group of children from schools in Bethlehem Governorate participated in partnership with the Directorate of Education.

handicrafts for women
5-12-2017 Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society, through the Women’s Program, concluded the training workshop in the field of handicrafts and wool weaving presented by Abeer Al-Zaghl, which lasted for ten days.

For his part, Dr. abdelfattah abusrour, Founder and General Director of Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society, said that the revival of the International Day for People with Disabilities aims at raising awareness among the society about the rights of persons with disabilities, the enjoyment of human rights by persons with disabilities and full participation in society on an equal basis with others. Integrate the disabled into every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life that benefits them and society. Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society participated in a training workshop on the
use of digital technology in libraries through technologies )Touch board,

for women
Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society and through the Women's Program concluded in December a training course for women in the field of (crochet) which is the knitting or twisting of the small needle thread which is a special needle.
which participated in the training course, which lasted more than ten meetings, was attended by a group of women from the Aida camp in the women's program. at the end of the training course, they presented a small exhibition of handcrafted works.For her part, the coordinator of the Women's Program alrowwad Society Manal Awda thanked the volunteer Shahira Hajajra for her initiative in training women on how to master the use of crochet to produce distinctive handicrafts.
Women’s program runs a women’s awareness meeting
on breast cancer
9-12-2017 The Women’s Program at the Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society ran an awareness meeting for women to talk about breast cancer with the participation of Dr. Traji Al-Qadi, head of the Community Health Department / Health Directorate in Bethlehem.

Society of Social Welfare for the Development of Palestinian Women an open meeting
entitled “Combating violence against Palestinian women” in the presence of the
Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Women Bassam al-Khatib, the head of
the women’s unit in the governorate, Wafaa Hamid, the representative of the General
Authority for Human Rights Alaa Ghanaim, the executive director of Alrowwad Society,
Ribal Alkurdi, the head of the Union of Women’s Action Committees Nada Tuir, the
President of the Society of Social Welfare for the Development of Palestinian Women
Ahlam al-Wahsh and a group of women from different areas of Bethlehem, Beit Sahour
and Beit Jala The village of Jib al-Dhib and Aida camp.
The meeting was opened by the executive director of Alrowwad, Ribal Alkurdi, who welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of the role of women in the Palestinian society and the need to shed light on the issues that concern women, especially the issues of violence practiced by the Israeli occupation within the political violence against women in Palestine.

Britain and Lebanon
Alrowwad cultural and arts society counseled on December her foreign tour 2017 which touched a number of European and Arab countries.
During his stay in Britain and Scotland the founder and general director at Alrowwad Society Abdelfattah Abusrour, visited a number of institutions, cultural clubs and libraries during the launch of the new Bethlehem Beautiful Resistance Recipes, one of the best cookbooks of 2017. These visits come to open the horizons of cooperation and partnership between Palestine and these countries, especially in the cultural, artistic and creative fields.
During his stay in London, Dr. Abdelfattah Abusrour spoke during the Good Morning program on Al-Arabi channel about Alrowwad as a creative artistic resistance and through his talk about the importance of resistance in art and creativity to influence the international opinion, especially in the issue of Jerusalem, which has received international attention recently following the political changes in the region.

A new book of Palestinian food entitled
"Beautiful Bethlehem Resistance Recipes"
From the healthy and hot soups to the popular dishes and desserts Palestinian delicacies, the authors of Bethlehem Book collected Palestinian recipes to give the Western reader a glimpse of daily life in Palestine where the Palestinian land and culture are subjected to the largest campaign of Israeli Judaization and piracy of Palestinian food heritage.
