TRANSCRIPT
Aluma EasySet is a new integrated forming and shoring system that can be used in
virtually any application where reinforced cast-in-place concrete is the specified
method of construction.
EasySet consists of all aluminum handset panels that can be easily handled and
erected by labour without the use of a crane or specialized tools or skills.
The system is especially well suited for mass housing or multiple-unit housing
developments because of its quick erection time, ease of use, durability and
low life-cycle cost.
- Interlocking extrusions reduces up to 80%
of costly structural welding compared to
competing systems.
- Lightweight, labour-friendly, panel with
ergonomic handhold.
- Panels can last twice as long as competing
systems
- No specialized maintenance required
- Designed for 60 kN/m2 Concrete pressure
The Panel - Features
Handholds
- Although it may seem a minor
consideration, the ability to easily grip
and carry the panel not only improves the
overall productivity of the system – but it
makes EasySet a favourite among labour
on the jobsite.
- Material: T6061 Aluminum Alloy
- Panel Widths: 100 – 600 mm @ 50 mm
intervals.
- Panel Length:
- Max Wall: 3.0 m
- Max Slab: 1.2 m
- Panel Thickness: 60 mm
- Panel Weight: 20 kg/m2
- Connections: Pin & Wedge. Dia.16 mm
Pin holes @ 300 mm c\c. Integrated Pin
available upon request.

Integrated Pin
- Integrated Pin cuts down on the amount
of loose hardware by keeping the pin
physically connected to the panel at all
times.
MONOLITHIC
Monolithic
EasySet was conceived as a monolithic forming system that allows the simultaneous forming of:
- Walls
- Slabs
- Beams
- Columns
- Windows
- Doors
- Stairs
- Construction Joints
- Architectural Features
EasySet allows an entire structure to be formed in one pour.
Monolithic
The key features of the monolithic form that set EasySet apart from similar systems are::
- Chamfered Stripping Panels
- Starter Panels
- Monolithic Stairs
Monolithic – Stripping Panels
.
A key feature of the monolithic
system that is unique to EasySet is
the Chamfered Stripping/Striking
panels that facilitate the quick
removal of the equipment from the
completed concrete without special
tools.
This allows the form to be stripped
30% faster than similar systems.
Due to the pressure exerted on the
form by the concrete stripping and
striking the interior form is the most
difficult and time consuming part of
the form cycle.
Monolithic – Stripping Panels
.
The chamfer stripping/striking
panels – or S type panel - are
positioned at key locations around
the interior of the form.

All Doors and Windows are formed
using the same SC panels used on the
interior to allow stripping of the
window bulkheads.
Stripped Position
Monolithic – Starter Panels
.
The Purpose of starter panels – or
STA panels - is to allow for a clean
exterior joint between vertical pours.
An additional full exterior perimeter
of STA panels is recommended
regardless of supply scope (i.e. ½
floor)
Depending on the application and
client preference we have 2 types of
starter panels available:
Standard STA Panel
Cast In Anchor STA Panel
Monolithic – Starter Panels
.
The Standard STA Panel
The standard starter panel uses the
existing bar tie to hold the starter
panel in position.
The height of the starter is
determined by the thickness of the
slab. Typically:
Thickness of Slab + 300mm
Monolithic – Starter Panels
.
Cast In Anchor STA Panel
Utilizes a 100% retrievable anchor
screw which holds the STA panel to
the wall
The height of the starter ranges from
150 – 250 mm and depends on the
exterior panel combination.
The advantage of this option is that it
can be used at the slab edge and
reduces the size of the starter panel.
Monolithic – Stairs
EasySet is one of the only systems
that allows for a fully monolithic stair
form.
This means that a buildings
staircase – regardless of geometry -
can be poured monolithically with
the surrounding wallforms
This eliminates the need for rebar
splicing and difficult secondary pours
or costly precast.
Monolithic – Stairs
Stair forms can be provided with or
without step covers depending on
the type of concrete being used and
the client’s preference
Stair covers are provided with a step
tread to allow safe access up and
down the stairs
Covers also have the added benefit of
allowing access to the top of the
form for the labour.
