Exclusive designs, timeless profiles, all perfectly finished, give Nielsen wood moul-dings a convincing elegance.The distinguished highlight of our collection is the clas-sic, hand gilded, close corner frame, hand-crafted at the Döllken workshop in Germany.

Bainbridge mountboard is available in a distinctive collection of fade and bleed resi-stant colours, shades and tones, and Artcare-mountboard uses a patented technolo-gy designed to protect artwork. A specifier is available.

As well as quality float glass, Nielsen supplies a complete range of etched and anti-reflective glass, antireflection coated glass, as well as ClearColour

®UV-Protect.

ClearColour®UV-Protect combines antireflective coating with UV protection.

For backing artwork use Bainbridge Foamboard; it’s lightweight, stable and simpleto use. Artcare Archival Foamboard, make even conservation framing quick andeasy. Other available backings are Alphamount self-adhesive and SpeedMount.

Closing the sale is much easier with attractive and well organized presentation aids.The Quadro floor standing display holds 400 corners of Nielsen profiles, and theModula holds ready-made frames & mounts using minimal floor space. Aluminium – the high-tech metal

Aluminium, this light, silver-white material, is extracted

from the Earth’s crust in the form of bauxite. It combines

two advantages in a way no other material can rival:

it is light, but at the same time robust. Aluminium is one

of the most important metals for motor vehicles and

aircraft, for electrical engineering – and for Nielsen pic-

ture-frame profiles. Nielsen uses sophisticated surface

processing to bring out the personality of this high-tech

metal.

Processing aluminium costs a great deal of time, effort, and

money, and requires a high level of technical understanding.

chemical processing.

Mechanical processing such as

brushing, grinding, or polishing

enable us to give the surfaces all

kinds of stylish finishes and

structures. Anodising (see

ticularly high-quality wet-lacquer

process result in a wide range of

attractive colours. Colours can

also be produced to special

order.
