Adjustment

A defined neutral positionavoids problems from thestartThe neutral position of theadjustable parts can be seenclearly from both the markingsand the characteristic shape ofthe components.

Eccentric pivot pin:For problem-free dooradjustment after installationThe pivot pins for both the two-and three-part hinges areeccentric. They can be adjustedby the insertion of an Allen keyinto the plastic bearing in thelower part of the hinge, enablingthe door to be realigned withinthe range +/- 0.75 mm.

Eccentric pivot bearing foradditional alignment witha total adjustment range of3 m mThe pivot bearings are alsoadjustable in three steps. Theadjustment range gives a further+/- 0.75 mm, so that DORMA LMhinges feature a total realignmentrange of 3 mm.

The fixing elements

Two-in-one insert plate withoffset tapped holesThe offset arrangement of thetapped holes allows for a varietyof installation positions for theinsert plate (22 mm). This givesthe optimum installation positionfor most profiles (dimension Xshould be kept as small aspossible).

For fixing to very narrow profiles,15 mm wide insert plates can besupplied.

Positive positioning of the insertplate before fixing is ensured bya leaf spring.

Easy and fast fixing toinsulated profilesIn order to maintain the integrityof the installation, easy-to-insertadjustable spacer sleeves canalso be supplied. A high loadcapacity is ensured by the factthat their collars press firmlyagainst the profile member.

Fixing with expansion plugs(max. door leaf weight 80 kg)If it is impossible to use an insertplate, expansion plugs willensure a secure fixing ofDORMA LM hinges.

Special fixingsfor timber doors

Flush-closing timber doors:Use LM hinge Art. No. A–13 (22)(36). 10 in either its two- or three-part version.

Over-rebated timber doors:(14 mm rebate) – Use LM hingeArt. No. A–36/22.10 in either itstwo- or three-part version.
