PMMA Opal Matte Acrylic Coversare 3x more expensive than regular polycarbonate covers to manufacture but it is

what we use to complement our 6063-T5 aircraft aluminum channels.

Benefits of PMMA Acrylic over Polycarbonate

• PMMA captures incoming light and distributes the wavelengths throughout the

entire cover allowing all light to exit through the other side evenly dispersed

• Thicker and more rigid construction offers a precision fit over its’ polycarbonate

counterpart making it ideal for complete waterproofing and constant vibrations

• Extreme UV, weather, and heat protection allows it to stay pristine opal matte

white for its lifetime unlike polycarbonate which yellows after 24-36 months

time as well as providing better adhesion for glues and tapes.
