Alumni and Rush Week

ANEW record was estab-lished in fraternity pledging at fall rushthis year, with a total of 393 studentspledged as a result of first dates of men'sfraternities and preferential pledging ofwomen's fraternities . Women pledgesnumbered 161 (compared to 150 lastyear) and men 230 (compared with 215at the end of first dates last year).
