1933 Alumni and Rush Week ANEW record was estab- lished in fraternity pledging at fall rush this year, with a total of 393 students pledged as a result of first dates of men's fraternities and preferential pledging of women's fraternities . Women pledges numbered 161 (compared to 150 last year) and men 230 (compared with 215 at the end of first dates last year) . More alumni returned this year for rush than any previous time, a survey made by The Sooner Magazine shows .
