ALYSIA AND SARAH MUSIC VIDEO PROJECT PITCH
THE CONCEPT
Our song was Erick Baker ‘Stay Awhile’, the song is about a boy
who has met a girl and enjoys every moment with her and always
wants her around. The song is from the males point of view so the
video will be from his point of view, the concept will be a couple
spending time together, laughing, crying and being in love, we’re
going to shoot it at several locations and combine them all to show
there relationship, the male actor will also at a point in the end
pick up a guitar and what he sings will be in sync with the song at
the time combining the story and the song.
APPEALING TO TARGET AUDIENCE
Our target audience is around 16-21 year olds,
throughout we will feature clothes that connect the
audience and actors in the music video, their entire
style will be relatable from young adults and late
teens. Also we want the audience to not just feel that
they can imagine themselves in a similar relationship
but they aspire for it, a close relationship with ups
downs and it being very intense and passionate.

STORYBOARDS
WHAT HAS CHANGED SINCE WE STARTED THIS PROJECT
Since we started our project we have had to re think one of our
locations because of getting the actors and equipment there and
back. We have also had to give some of our shots on our story
board a second option in case we can’t do it. Most things have
stayed the same as me and sarah bother have the same kind of
idea for what we want our music video to include. One thing we
have changed is our video was gong to be mostly a narrative but
we want the male actor in the video to lip sing along with song at
points throughout to connect the video and the song.
HOW OUR IDEAS HAVE IMPROVED
Throughout this process our ideas have improved,
for example with more research we’re giving our
actors the look our target audience aspires to look
like also looking at other music videos of the same
genre has gave us inspiration from our own video.
We’re also now conscious of problems that we could
be faced with so we’ve thought of more realistic
locations.
