Welcome to my latest report on Carindale and Carina property. At this time of year the weather is pretty
much perfect. The balmy humidity and heat has left most of the day and the nights are just about right,
in fact in many instances the doona is a welcome addition!
In terms of property, you can easily be mistaken for thinking that the market slows down, especially as we
head into the Easter school holidays. The reality is that buyers are still active and homes are still selling.
In fact, with fewer homes coming on to the market, sellers who elect to sell at this time of year often
see stronger results thanks to reduced supply and consistent demand. Call me today, and let’s get you

At the end of 2015 some of the heat was clearly leaving the Sydney and Melbourne markets and finding
it’s way up north into Brisbane. With an increase in interstate migration to Queensland (admittedly off low
numbers in recent years) and a generally more affordable property market, it is most likely that we will
continue to see this trend continue for the balance of 2016.
In February alone, Brisbane recorded a 1.8 percent increase in house prices and there was a clear
presence of interstate investors, particularly at auctions, helping that growth. Furthermore, general
consumer, or rather buyer, sentiment is strong at the moment and again this confidence looks likely to
remain for the balance of 2016.

Market Update.
Conda Street Amaya did an incredible job in selling our house - at the first (and only!) open house she had 5 parties wanting to purchase the property and by the next day she had done a fantastic job in negotiating the price we wanted, and in doing this, had happy purchasers, happy sellers & happy agents! Even though it was the weekend, she worked until 9pm on the Saturday night, and all through Sunday to achieve the absolute, very best result for us. She negotiated a great price for us through her considerable negotiation skills, and her wonderful interpersonal skills. Prior to the house going to market, she kept in regular contact with us and spared no effort in ensuring that we felt supported and encouraged in putting our dreams and emotions to market.
