Natural Light from Skylight Food looks good even on pastel tray.


Natural Light from Window Carry tray or plate to natural light.

Go with bright primary

colors in food & trays.


Contrast Issue = Pastel Trays Pink = unappetizing, Gravy = messy


Contrast Solution = Right Tray Use one tray just for photos.


Contrast Issue = Black Trays Too much black can be problematic.


Contrast Solution = Add Text Text breaks up black & adds detail.


Contrast Issue = White Styrofoam White food disappears into bowl.


Contrast Solution = Bright Foods Multiple trays create more contrast.


Contrast Solution = Use Collage Multiple photos create eye appeal.

Lack of Focus = Ruins Great Photos If you can’t read it, don’t show it.
