Dear Parishioners:

Happy Easter!! Jesus is Risen, Alleluia!! Today we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday!! What does that mean to you? How does that happen in your life? Jesus' mercy is greater than the sins of the whole world! How do you express and share His mercy? It is as simple as the ABC's:

A. Ask for Jesus' Mercy. B. Be merciful to others. C. Completely trust in Jesus!!

There will be Confessions and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3:00 pm, Sun-day, April 3 at St. Columbkille. On Tuesday, April 12, 6:30 pm Archbishop Jackels celebrates the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Joseph the Worker. Everyone is welcome to attend.

In the Easter Season, we elect new members to our Pastoral Councils and Faith Formation Commissions. If you or someone you know is interested in serving God in this way, please contact me at the parish office. It is time for the next generation to become servant leaders, welcoming new life in the Church, The Body of Christ!

Happy Easter!! Easter Blessings upon you, Fr. Gabriel

• Weekend Masses: The sidewalk in front of the main entrance and a path to the parking lot to the north will have a hard surface for ALL weekend masses. Provisions will be made by the Parish for those needing assistance by designating temporary accessible parking along the east edge of the Reflection Garden and providing assis-tance from that parking area to the main entrance.

• Weekday Masses: Access to either the main entrance or the south entrance will be maintained at all times. Parish assistance will NOT be provided for weekday masses.

The contract limits the construction duration to 4 work weeks which includes 3 week-ends. However, extended rain during construction could extend the construction dura-tion. The construction schedule has yet to be determined. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this project.

St. Columbkille Parish presents a teaching and exposition of Sacred Relics on Saturday, April 23 at 6:00 pm in Presenta-tion Hall. Father Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross will be here with his very special ministry to teach about these holy objects. He will bring with him over 150

relics, some as old as 2000 years. Among the treasures will be relics of St. Ma-ria Goretti, St. Therese of Lisieux (the “Little Flower"), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Faustina Kowalska. In addition, there will also be present a portion of the veil of Our Lady, as well as one of the largest remaining pieces of the True Cross in the world. Those in attendance will be able to examine and venerate each relic. In the Church’s history, many mira-cles and healings have been worked in the presence of relics, and many have been healed through this ministry. Please do not miss this opportunity. You are encouraged to bring your articles of devotion (such as rosaries, holy cards, etc.) and pictures of ill friends/family members which you will be able to touch to the reliquaries as a means of intercession.

Let's have a FAIR TRADE PARISH PARTY! Go online to http://theworker.org/pastoral-care-and-service/pastoral-care/fair-trade-coffee/ to find our order form (click on "order form" located to the left of the Fair Trade logo), then drop off the form at the parish office or call one of the coordinators. We carry a wide variety of delicious products (coffee, tea, choco-late, baking goods, etc.) which help small farmers in developing countries receive fair prices for their products and provide them rights that big businesses take away. Let's make this a HUGE sale - restock your cupboards with these products or consider buying as a Mother's Day, birthday, or graduation gift. Share the forms with your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers! Special bonus: We put together a nicely packaged gift that is completely ready for you to give (sample

photos online).
