SCHOOL PROFILE Ambassador High School (AHS) is a small private non-profit Chrisan high school in partnership with the LA Galaxy Soccer Center and LA Harbor College. AHS started in 2013 with 27 students in beauful Torrance, CA. Now AHS has a total enrollment of 67 students in 9th to 12th grade. Ambassador offers 12 college courses and nine AP courses. All students who graduated from Ambassador have confidently moved on to four year universies with transfer credit. In the 2015-2016 school year, AHS currently has the second highest average SAT score in the South Bay with every student taking at least one AP course. AHS is located in the LA Galaxy Soccer Center and has 71,000 square feet of athlec and classroom space. The campus includes six indoor soccer fields, three volleyball courts, a basketball court and is across the street from the City of Torrance Sport Complex, which has six acres of outdoor field space. AHS has spent over a $100,000 on campus modernizaon. The school uses the LA Galaxy Café for lunch and completes labs for Biology and Chemistry at Experium Science Academy, which is one mile from the school. COMMUNITY INFORMATION Torrance is near the Pacific Ocean and the beaches of Los Angeles. Torrance has 180,000 residents and is outside of Los Angeles and Hollywood. Internaonal high school students will enjoy an amazing American cultural immersion and the opportunity to visit many famous sites in California. The Torrance area also has some of the strongest educaonal instuons in America such as California Instute of Technology (Caltech), University of California - Berkley, University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) and more.
