Mr. President, Madam Secretary-General, Mr. Secretary-General of the ITU, Honourable Director-General of the United Nations, Honourable Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentleman, I wish to speak to you on the behalf of the delegation of Costa Rica represented by the Eötvös József Secondary School of Budapest, Hungary. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude that you invited me here, to speak upon the floor of the Human Rights Council. The spirit and heritage of this unique venue should inspire us during the sessions. Ladies and Gentlemen, I once received some advice from Mr. Imre Hollai, the 37th president of the UN General Assembly. Let me share it with you: "In my childhood only small opportunities penetrated the strong wall of the Iron Curtain. Now you have the whole world awaiting you; do not let this opportunity drift away!" 23 years ago the idea of a democratic system, free speech and life without fears seemed to be not more than wishful thinking for Hungarian people. Today, I can lead an MUN-Club consisting of more than a hundred members. All of them have equal rights to present their opinions. We gather to debate and get a deeper insight into global issues and history based on the presentations of our teachers and guest speakers. I truly believe that the more than 20 best delegate titles we have won in the last two years show our commitment to the values of Model United Nations. Mr. Hollai, we took up your challenge! Ladies and Gentlemen,
