Reported directly to General Managers and Assistant Managers. Following a company merger chose to become a restaurant manager and develop as a training expert while gaining management and leadership experience rather than move to Missouri to pursue the new company’s IT program.

Process Improvement: Obtained ServSafe certification to ensure highest quality food safety standards. Helped this café-bakery attain Level 3 Certification to become a management-training store.

Dependability: Responsible for high accuracy cash deposits, running EOD closing procedures, interviewing and hiring, maintaining employee personnel records, directing a crew of approximately ten at a time while coordinating a clean restaurant to deliver food orders on a timely basis.

Achievement: Participated in a commercial for a local daytime show with Monica Scott to unveil and demonstrate a new product known as a Crispani (baked flatbread pizza). Show aired several broadcasts while the product was being actively promoted.

Training/Development: Directly trained new company managers using a schedule and training matrix to assist in their certification process. Conducted Manager-Observation-Forms (MOF) on approximately a dozen managerial candidates that provided valuable training feedback. Many of these trainees became highly skilled managers deployed at Panera Breads throughout the company.

Systems Installation: Assisted in setting up computer systems in new Panera Bread café-bakeries including Plainfield, IN and South Bend, IN.

Customer Service: Answered support calls from restaurant managers at both Panera Bread café-bakeries and Pizza Hut Restaurant and Delivery Centers. Callers sought assistance addressing various issues such as pricing discrepancies, credit card processing failures, system crashes on cashier terminals or office computers, Wi-Fi network outages, End of Day Reporting issues, and any other IT related support needs. Documented reported issues, solved accordingly and escalated as necessary.

IT Help: Remotely accessed Back-of-House(BOH) Servers and POS terminals using Symantec PCAnywhere. Addressed any particular Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) transaction issues which could cause system and server instability especially when running End of Day (EOD) processes.
