Over 300 employees in Europe and Asia, a network of subsidiaries, trade and general agency, own pro-duct development: With its inter-national operations the Amefa Group distributes its products in more than 50 countries, approximately 500,000 cutlery and cutting utensils per day. Amefa Germany oversees operations for Austria and Switzerland from the city of Solingen which is famed for its blade production. International procurement and inter-national quality assurance for the entire Group are also managed from the city of Solingen.

The effective global structure with three offices in Asia provides a diverse number of advantages both in terms of administration and pro-curement, as well as certification and quality assurance by way of inspectors on site. Furthermore, our Group Purchase Director and our Group Quality Manager regularly visit our production sites in Asia, in order to be able to continually gua-rantee our business partners the best product quality and perfect service for the highest level of custo-mer satisfaction.

The company Richardson Sheffield, manufacturer and primary supplier of professional knives and scissors in Great Britain, has been part of Amefa since 2007. The brand has long been internationally renowned for its innovative quality products and expertise.
